Pro-life leader: Democrats only ‘win’ the abortion debate by hiding what abortion is

When it comes to abortion, the Democrats never describe what they’re intent on defending. Instead, they pick and choose words that represent a woman’s freedom rather than the murdering of a baby.

“They pretend to be talking about abortion, and they talk about women’s rights, the Constitution, women’s health freedom. Well, we agree with all those things. We just don’t agree with the killing of babies,” pro-life leader Frank Pavone tells BlazeTV host Steve Deace on the “Steve Deace Show.”

“They don’t want to admit that the baby’s even there,” he adds.

This is why when it comes to changing the way Americans see abortion, Pavone points to a South Dakota law that required that abortionists say to women getting the procedure, “This procedure is about to destroy a whole, separate, unique, living human being.”

“The law actually provided those words as what that abortionist had to say to the woman,” Pavone says. “Now, Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry objected, and they said, ‘Oh, that’s just ideology and belief. You can’t require somebody to say that.’ And when the court looked at it, the conclusion they came to was: This is not ideology or belief. This is simply scientific fact.”

“The court said, ‘No, no, no, no. The difference with this is, this is the only procedure that involves the intentional destruction of a human life,’” he continues.

“And so that is where I think we have to begin. How do we get to the end of abortion? Maybe we ought to start by defining abortion,” he adds, noting that this is why there is so much miscommunication between the left and the right when abortion becomes the topic of debate.

“In a sense, we’ve had a pretend debate in America over abortion. We think of the word, we’re thinking about the destruction of a whole, separate, unique, living human life. We’re thinking about an act of violence. The other side uses the same word, but they’re thinking about freedom and rights and women’s health,” he explains.

“It’s like, what in the world are we talking about? What is an abortion? And the only way that the other side … ‘wins’ any of their battles is precisely by not facing that question,” he adds.

DNC summer meeting speaker: Americans don’t care about immigrant crime and carjackings

The Democratic National Committee’s summer meeting is under way as the party faces historic unpopularity and low cash on hand after its major defeat in the elections in November.

It appears, however, that Democrats have not learned to pivot away from the positions that contributed to their loss of control of the Senate and the White House. During the meeting in Minneapolis on Monday, a speaker from the left-wing Vera Institute of Justice told the audience to continue defending illegal immigrants against President Donald Trump’s deportations.

“Where does Trump go? Migrant crime, carjackings, the really lurid, awful stuff that is a crazy, crazy visual. Don’t take the bait,” Insha Rahman said, “because most Americans are more worried about how are we going to address mental health issues, the visible homelessness that we see on streets, and how do we deal with mental health and other issues that drive the sort of random incidents that scare all of us.”

Since Trump federalized the DC Metropolitan Police Department and sent more manpower into the city, there has not been a single murder.

Rahman urged Democrats to focus on those issues instead of “migrant crime or carjackings or the things that actually don’t matter to that many Americans.”

Amid Trump deploying the National Guard and extra federal law enforcement agents to Washington, D.C., to bring down the city’s crime rate, Rahman told attendees that Republicans portraying themselves as “tough on crime” in 2020 was a “play” straight out of “the overall authoritarian playbook.”

Since Trump federalized the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department and sent more manpower into the city, there has not been a single murder. Other crimes such as robberies, carjackings, car theft, and violent crime are also down double digits, according to the city’s police union.

Trump stated that Chicago is next on the list for National Guard deployment, despite objections from Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker (D) and Mayor Brandon Johnson (D).

Trump, Gold Star families commemorate Abbey Gate tragedy: ‘One of the darkest days’

President Donald Trump honored the fallen soldiers from the Abbey Gate attack of 2021, commemorating their service and bravery alongside the Gold Star families.

On Monday, Trump signed a proclamation on the fourth anniversary of the attack when terrorists carried out a suicide bombing, killing 13 service members at the airport in Kabul, Afghanistan. The proclamation called the bombing “one of the darkest days in our Nation’s history,” arguing that former President Joe Biden’s botched withdrawal from the region only “empowered” the terrorists to attack.

‘One of the most shameful and heartbreaking moments in our Nation’s collective memory.’

“As our Nation remembers this atrocious attack, we honor the memory of every brave warrior who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country,” the proclamation reads.

“We join in grief with the families who senselessly lost a loved one, and we renew our solemn pledge to our 13 fallen patriots — we will never forget you; we will never forsake you; and your memory will live on forever.”

The proclamation went on to criticize Biden’s lack of leadership that led up to the attack. Biden first began to withdraw from Afghanistan in July 2021 but failed to alert Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, leaving many service members defenseless and empowering the Taliban to free “thousands of bloodthirsty terrorists and criminals” from Bagram prison.

One of those prisoners who was set free went on to detonate a suicide bomb at the airport in Kabul, killing 13 American service members, wounding 45, and injuring over 160 civilians. The tragedy led to one of Biden’s most notorious political blunders when he checked his watch while the fallen soldiers were returned to American soil.

“In what will be remembered as one of the most shameful and heartbreaking moments in our Nation’s collective memory, Joe Biden checked his watch — and time stood still — as a Sailor, Soldier, and 11 Marines returned home in flag-draped coffins, solemnly escorted by their brothers and sisters in arms.”

“We’re so proud of you. We’re so proud of your loved ones for giving their lives for our country,” Vice President JD Vance told Gold Star families in the Oval Office on Monday.

Democrats unleash wild Trump fantasies: Nazis, ‘Handmaid’s Tale,’ and Russia

A highly dangerous strain of Trump derangement syndrome is spreading through the left like wildfire, with Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett, former U.S. Domestic Policy Council Director Susan Rice, former Georgia state Rep. Stacey Abrams, and Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker among those exhibiting the most severe symptoms.

Crockett commented on the crime crackdown in D.C., calling it “dystopian.”

“It’s funny because I used to watch, like, ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ and I can’t. Right? I never finished, and I can’t watch it because it is too close to reality. And so what we’re seeing is this militarization,” Crockett told Gavin Newsom on “This Is Gavin Newsom.”

And Gov. J.B. Pritzker is no better.

“I built a Holocaust museum. And one thing about that experience that I can tell you — and I worked with Holocaust survivors for more than a decade to build this museum — one thing I learned in the process of that is that it doesn’t take very long to tear apart a constitutional republic,” Pritzker explained on “Talking Feds with Harry Litman.”

“Indeed, the Nazis did it in 53 days. And our democracy is almost as fragile. And we’re seeing it right now,” he added.

“So, now we’re pre-Nazi Germany according to him. … It’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ in Washington, D.C. It’s pre-Nazi Germany in Illinois. And here comes Stacey Abrams to help us with more,” Blaze Media co-founder Glenn Beck says on “The Glenn Beck Program.”

“I want to tie this back to the abundance agenda and how you think about blue-state power. If it is true that he’s a grand ayatollah, that mystical power extends and can be, you know, he can anoint his, you know, his prophets,” Abrams said on “Assembly Required with Stacey Abrams.”

And that’s not all, as Susan Rice is still pushing the Trump-Russia angle on MSNBC.

“It’s been clearly and repeatedly established, including by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee led by Marco Rubio, that Russia interfered in the 2016 election by disinformation campaigns, by social media efforts, by all sorts of means short of manipulating the actual vote. And that’s just a fact,” Rice said.

“Now, obviously, Donald Trump doesn’t like that fact,” she added.

“I can’t,” Glenn comments. “How is this still happening with no pushback from, what was it, ABC or NBC? No pushback from NBC. None. Zero. All of the documentation has come out that shows she was part of the conspiracy. She was part of it. She was a ringleader in this.”

“There’s this little fantasy that the deep state has been pushing, and then there are the actual documents written to and by people like Susan Rice showing this was all made up,” he adds.

DNC begins summer meeting with virtue-signaling stunt in Minneapolis

The Democratic Party has been struggling for months with in-fighting and finding a message that resonates with its base, but the Democratic National Committee’s summer meeting is proving to be more of the same virtue signaling from years past.

DNC Chair Ken Martin called the meeting into session and almost immediately introduced a speaker from the Saginaw nation to deliver a land acknowledgment speech.

‘And, in many ways, we still live in a system built to suppress indigenous people’s cultural and spiritual history.’

Lindy Sowmick, the treasurer for the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party and self-described “indigenous queer woman,” gave the land acknowledgment at the very beginning of the meeting.

“Good morning, DNC members, friends, and relatives. Let’s talk about the land for a second. The DNC acknowledges and honors the Dakota Oyate — the Dakota people — who are the original stewards of the lands and waters of Minneapolis. The Dakota cared for the lands, lakes, and … the great river, the Mississippi River, for thousands of years before colonization,” she said. “This land was not cleaned or treated. It’s a part of a history of broken treaties and promises. And, in many ways, we still live in a system built to suppress indigenous people’s cultural and spiritual history.”

RELATED: Redesign of Minnesota state flag draws controversy as some say it resembles Somalian state flag: ‘Yall are conquered’

“As Democrats, I ask of every one of you to not allow land acknowledgments like these to simply be the checking of a box. Be curious, ask questions, ensure our native neighbors are heard, and work in partnership with your indigenous communities. Honor the legacy of this land and its people by engaging today with each other with honesty, humility, respect, and compassion.”

The Democrat-run state has long been hostile to “settler” imagery, even changing the state flag last year to erase the white man tilling the land.

Monday was the first day of the three-day DNC summer meeting in Minneapolis.

Supporters of illegal alien truck driver accused of killing 3 demand light sentence: ‘Shame on your white injustice’

Approximately 3 million people have signed a petition in support of Harjinder Singh, an illegal alien truck driver accused of killing three Americans on a Florida highway.

Last week, the nation was rocked when video appeared to show Singh attempting a U-turn on the Florida Turnpike while driving an 18-wheeler, pulling the rig across two lanes of traffic and killing three passengers in a minivan that crashed into his truck.

Singh has been charged with three counts of vehicular homicide and three counts of manslaughter, jail records show. He also has been placed on an immigration hold.

Now, a Change.org petition has popped up in support of the illegal alien driver, which contains bizarre requests and even more strange messages of support.

‘I know it was an accident. He made a terrible mistake, not a deliberate choice to harm anyone.’

The India Times reported that Singh failed an English proficiency test, answering just two of 12 questions correctly while also being unable to identify more than one of four road signs.

The petition, however, claims that Singh should get lenient sentencing because he has no prior “criminal intent or history,” despite being an illegal immigrant. The petition does not mention his failures in the post-crash testing.

Instead, the petition suggests a “proportionate and reasonable sentence” or “alternative sentencing measures,” such as “restorative justice, counseling, or community service.”

The comments in support of Singh are also garnering attention, as many appear to be pre-prepared and identical.

RELATED: License to kill: The nationwide scam turning America’s highways into death traps

The petition highlights three featured comments on the page, chosen by creator Manisha Kaushal. Two of those comments are exactly the same, word for word (archived here).

The page also includes video testimonies from supporters, many of which are also identical, as pointed out by an X user. Account XJosh showcased four different supporters reciting the following:

I am in support of Harjinder Singh. I know it was an accident. He made a terrible mistake, not a deliberate choice to harm anyone. He was working hard to support his family like so many of us. One wrong decision changed everything. A 45-year prison sentence is not justice.

Other comments, such as “shame on your white injustice” and “please save our brother,” revealed that some supporters harbor racist sentiments.

Blaze News reached out to the petition’s creator and asked for clarification on the possible “alternative sentencing measures,” as well as Singh’s immigration status and his failure to properly communicate in English. No reply was provided.

As previously reported by Blaze News, the Department of Transportation says 1,500 illiterate drivers have been taken off the road since June.

Department of Homeland Security official Tricia McLaughlin has also noted that Singh’s work authorization was rejected in 2020 under President Trump but granted under President Biden in 2021.

Singh was granted a commercial driver’s license in both California and Washington.

Judge ‘absolutely’ forbids Trump administration to deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia — for now

A migrant from El Salvador who is accused of being an MS-13 member has been deported to a terror prison, brought back to the U.S., threatened to be deported to Uganda, but will remain in the U.S. for now.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia tearfully pleaded his case in Spanish at a press conference Monday before he reported to the Baltimore field office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He had been released from Putnam County Jail in Tennessee on Friday before the Trump administration notified him of his possible deportation.

Garcia has been indicted for allegedly transporting people in the U.S. who were not legally in the country, but he has denied the allegations.

Just hours after he was detained again, U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis ruled that the administration could not deport him before an evidentiary hearing.

“Your clients are absolutely forbidden at this juncture to remove Mr. Abrego Garcia from the continental United States,” the judge said to the government’s attorneys. “That is the understanding that we have?”

“Your honor, yes,” responded Drew Ensign, a Justice Department attorney. “We certainly understand that.”

Garcia has been indicted for allegedly transporting people in the U.S. who were not legally in the country, but he has denied the allegations. His attorney said the government offered to deport him to Costa Rica if he pleaded guilty to two counts of smuggling, but would deport him to Uganda if he refused the offer.

Ensign added that removals to a third country take time and that Garcia’s deportation was not “imminent.”

RELATED: Dem melts down during hearing over evidence that Kilmar Garcia is an MS-13 gang member

Garcia had called it a miracle that he was reunited with his family.

“This was a miracle. Thank you to God, and thank you to the community,” he said, as translated from Spanish. “I want to thank each and every one of you who marched, lift your voices, never stop praying, and continue to fight in my name.”

The Trump administration has vowed not to let Garcia walk free in the U.S.

“Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a dangerous criminal illegal alien. We have said it for months and it remains true to this day: he will never go free on American soil,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in June.

Judge Xinis was nominated to the court by former President Barack Obama.

DeSantis slaps down California lawmaker’s ‘lie’ about book ban in Florida

A far-left California lawmaker tried to criticize Florida’s book ban, but Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis stepped in to set the record straight.

State Sen. Scott Wiener claimed bizarrely in a post on social media that Florida had banned “The Diary of Anne Frank,” but that post was immediately contradicted by a community note.

‘Another lie debunked.’

“Florida banning the Diary of Anne Frank tells you everything you need to know about the MAGA movement,” he posted.

However, not only is the famous book not blacklisted, but it is actually recommended in the state’s curriculum.

“This is just a lie. Not only is Anne Frank’s diary not ‘banned’ in Florida — it’s on @EducationFL recommended reading list,” responded Christina Pushaw, who ran the rapid response team for DeSantis’ 2022 re-election and 2024 presidential campaigns.

DeSantis himself stepped in to reiterate the point.

“This is not the first time a leftist has accused Florida of ‘banning’ a book that is on the state’s recommended reading list. Another lie debunked,” he posted on social media.

As previously reported by Blaze News, many news outlets falsely reported that a Miami school library had banned a book written by Amanda Gorman, a poet who had read one of her works at the inauguration of former President Joe Biden.

The lie persisted despite it being debunked by DeSantis as well as the Snopes website and a spokesperson for Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

RELATED: Voters overwhelmingly oppose sexually explicit books in public school libraries, poll finds

Wiener may be confusing Frank’s diary with “Annexed” by Sharon Dogar, a novel heavily criticized for allegedly “sexing up” Frank. According to PEN America, at least one Florida school district has banned “Annexed.”

Wiener is known for making extreme left-wing proposals for legislation in the Democrat-controlled California legislature. In 2022, he tried to push a law that would enable minors to get vaccinated without parental consent.

In 2023, Wiener supported a law that would make “gender affirmation” an integral part of state law related to children’s “health, safety, and welfare.” Under the new law, judges overseeing child custody cases could favor one parent over the other based on who affirms a child’s right to choose to change their gender.

State Department isn’t buying ProPublica’s sob story about Taliban alumnus whose funding was exposed by DOGE

ProPublica — an investigative journalist outfit that has received donations from Laurene Powell Jobs and her leftist Emerson Collective, from George Soros’ Foundation to Promote Open Society, and from Crankstart Foundation, Lincoln Project donor Michael Moritz’s family foundation — ran a sob story on Friday about a so-called “Afghan scholar” whose receipt of American funds through the U.S. Institute of Peace was exposed earlier this year by the Department of Government Efficiency.

The liberal publication tried to paint former Taliban official Mohammad Qasem Halimi as a victim, the work he did as “routine” yet “ambiguous,” DOGE’s publicization of Halimi’s financial link to the U.S. as irresponsible, and the DOGE worker who briefly controlled USIP as inept.

The game the establishment media is playing is ‘an insult to our nation.’

ProPublica’s concern-mongering has not found resonance at the Trump State Department, which is aware that Halimi was part of the regime that harbored the terrorists who attacked America on 9/11.

In a Monday statement to Rikki Ratliff-Fellman, executive producer for Glenn Beck, the department defended cutting off Halimi, reiterated that he was indeed a former Taliban member, and underscored that the game the establishment media is playing is “an insult to our nation.”

Quick background

President Donald Trump issued an executive order on Feb. 19 aimed at reducing the scope of the federal bureaucracy.

Among the federal entities that the Trump administration subsequently worked to shutter or scale down was the USIP, a think tank with an apparent problem with political bias and a budget last year of $55 million.

RELATED: America First foreign policy gets an Office of Natural Rights

The Trump administration canned 10 voting members of the USIP board of directors along with the institute’s president, former Clinton official George Moose; terminated nearly all of the institute’s staff and activities around the world; had elements of the DOGE take over the institute’s headquarters; and transferred USIP’s property to the General Services Administration.

Fired members of the board sued on March 18 to prevent a housecleaning at the USIP, claiming the wind-down was a “lawless assault.” Although an Obama judge declared in May that the changes at the federal entity were “null and void,” the D.C. Court of Appeals stayed the lower court’s ruling.

DOGE highlights Taliban link

Following its takeover of USIP headquarters and just hours after notifying Halimi of his contract’s termination, the DOGE shared some of its findings in March 31 on X, noting, “USIP contracts (now cancelled) include: — $132,000 to Mohammad Qasem Halimi, an ex-Taliban member who was Afghanistan’s former Chief of Protocol.”

According to Halimi’s bio on the Doha Forum site, “he is the former Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs in Afghanistan” and “was assigned as a Deputy Justice Minister of Technical and Professional Affairs in 2017.”

That bio omits any mention of Halimi’s arrest and detention by American forces from 2002 to 2003 at Bagram Air Base or his time with the Taliban.

Deutsche Welle reported that Halimi went to work for the Taliban in 1998, working first in its foreign ministry, then becoming chief of protocol.

‘This is real. We don’t encounter that in most agencies.’

“I don’t deny that I supported the Taliban,” Halimi told DW. “I had a very good time in the Foreign Office. It was really the best time in my life. Back then, Afghanistan really needed the Taliban.”

Halimi spoke glowingly about Mullah Mohammad Omar, the first leader of the Taliban who offered sanctuary to Islamic terrorist Osama bin Laden both before and after the 9/11 attacks, stating, “I cannot say it any differently today than I said it back then: Afghanistan needed Mullah Omar back then.”

RELATED: The Islamification of America is well under way

Speaking to DW in 2017, Halimi stated, “To this day I still have friendly relations with the Taliban” — an organization Secretary of State Marco Rubio is looking at for a possible foreign terrorist organization designation.

Halimi reportedly switched sides after his release by American forces.

The USIP contract for this friend of the Taliban was mentioned again in an April 1 post on X, which was shared by Elon Musk and ultimately went massively viral.

The caption on the corresponding post read: “With help from the FBI and Metro Police DOGE was able to access the agency and discovered massive fraud, waste and abuse-including payments to Taliban and Iraq.”

The following month, a DOGE staffer told “Jesse Watters Primetime” in a May 1 group interview, “We found that [USIP] were spending money on things like private jets, and they even had a $130,000 contract with a former member of the Taliban. This is real. We don’t encounter that in most agencies.”

Tears for the Taliban

According to ProPublica, Taliban security forces allegedly beat and temporarily imprisoned members of Halimi’s family just days after news of his USIP funding was brought to light.

Blaze News has reached out to Afghanistan’s Ministries of Interior Affairs and Foreign Affairs for comment.

While the alleged violence was perpetrated by Halimi’s former comrades, the liberal publication characterized the Trump administration’s public recognition of Halimi’s Taliban link and exposure of his supposedly benign USIP contract as an “attack” — an attack that former State Department and White House officials supposedly said was “not only absurd, but also dangerous.”

ProPublica, which downplayed Halimi’s Taliban past and highlighted his work with the former Karzai government, complained that after this “attack,” Halimi is now without work and “wonders how he will support his wife and children and whether there’s any chance he can clear his name.”

‘An overwhelming majority of Americans would agree that the Federal Government should not be funding former members of the Taliban when our country is $36T in debt.’

“Why would one of the richest men in the world commit such an act of injustice?” Halimi said to ProPublica. “Sometimes I think that if Elon Musk himself were fully informed about this matter, he would likely be deeply ashamed.”

Whereas the liberal publication proved eager to portray the former Taliban official as a sympathetic character, the publication alternatively characterized Nate Cavanaugh — the former DOGE staffer who worked ardently to expose the rot at USIP, briefly served as its president, and canceled Halimi’s contact — as a privileged incompetent.

The publication noted, for example, that Cavanaugh: is a “28-year-old college dropout”; “had nothing in his background to suggest he would be chosen to wind down an international conflict-resolution agency”; started two companies that haven’t “successfully” taken off; and “comes from a wealthy family.”

Cavanaugh — whom Blaze News has reached out to for comment — apparently made no apologies for carrying out the task President Donald Trump mandated him to do.

“An overwhelming majority of Americans would agree that the Federal Government should not be funding former members of the Taliban when our country is $36T in debt,” said Cavanaugh.

Cavanaugh’s successor similarly appears not to be panged by ProPublica’s sympathies for the Taliban alumnus.

Darren Beattie, undersecretary for public diplomacy at the State Department and acting president of USIP, said in a statement to Ratliff-Fellman, “Under President Trump’s February 19 Executive Order, the United States Institute of Peace was directed to reduce operations to its statutory minimum — ending, among other things, a contract with former Taliban member Mohammad Qasem Halimi.”

“The idea of funding former Taliban members on one hand, and publicly lamenting the Taliban’s success in reducing Afghanistan’s opium production on the other, highlights the schizophrenic and dangerous approach to ‘conflict resolution’ adopted by USIPs previous leadership,” continued Beattie. “The fact that the establishment media defends using taxpayer dollars this way is an insult to our nation and the heroes who have fought to protect it.”

Beattie added, “Above all, this underscores President Trump’s resolve to end the weaponization of government, cut off funding to adversaries, and shut down reckless so-called peace-building programs that end up undermining our national security.”

Snoop Dogg enrages liberals after criticizing LGBTQ scenes in kids’ movies

A lesbian theme in a children’s movie led popular rapper Snoop Dogg to avoid going to the theater with his grandchildren, and many on the left are melting down over it.

The 53-year-old hip-hop mogul, whose given name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus, made the comments while being interviewed on the “It’s Giving” podcast. He said that his grandson was confused over a scene showing a lesbian couple kiss in the “Lightyear” movie.

‘These are kids. We have to show that at this age? They’re going to ask questions! I don’t have the answer.’

Broadus said that the movie said the lesbian couple had a baby.

“My grandson, in the middle of the movie, is like, ‘Papa Snoop, how did she have a baby with a woman? She’s a woman,'” he recalled.

“I’m scared to go to the movies now,” he added.

“It threw me for a loop,” Broadus said. “I’m like, ‘What part of the movie was this?’ These are kids. We have to show that at this age? They’re going to ask questions! I don’t have the answer.”

The “Lightyear” movie was criticized by many for its woke inclusion, and it did not fare well at the box office. Despite being part of a very popular franchise, the movie came in second in its first week of release and went on to be one of Pixar’s worst-performing films.

News outlets like USA Today made it appear as if the majority of social media opinion went against the rapper.

“Biggest sellout in Hip-Hop,” reads one response cited by the outlet.

“How is answering his grandson’s question even close to the horrors of answering how a man has a baby with a woman?????” another popular response reads.

“I’m so tired.. Genuinely so tired of the rampant homophobia nowadays,” another user responded.

RELATED: ‘Lightyear’ movie flops at the box office amid woke controversies

Others accused the rapper of being politically incorrect since he performed at a pro-cryptocurrency event during the celebration after President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

“Y’all can’t hate enough on me. I love too much,” Snoop Dogg replied at the time. “Get your life right. Stop worrying about mine. I’m cool. I’m together. Still a Black man. Still 100% Black.”

CONFIRMED: Biden’s DOJ was in PANIC over legality of ‘autopen pardons’

Brand-new evidence indicates that Biden’s DOJ knew that the autopen pardons were legally flawed, and internal emails show that even his own lawyers raised alarms.

“So I’m a little biased here, of course, but this is a big one. It is the first written, black-and-white evidence of disagreement in the senior-most levels of the Biden camp as it related to the autopen pardon spree,” Oversight Project President Mike Howell tells BlazeTV hosts Jill Savage and Matthew Peterson on “Blaze News: The Mandate.”

An email from a top official at the DOJ went out the day after the 2,500-plus commutations.

“He goes off on Saturday morning, outlining all the reasons why these are not enforceable commutations. They make no sense. They need further direction from the White House — read between the lines there: from the president and not an autopen,” Howell explains.

“And moreover, that the actual interpretation of the very vague thing that Biden allegedly announced would apply to — guess what: a lot of violent criminals. And that it did. And so in Biden’s grand, you know, commutation of 2,500-plus, caught up in there were people who shot cops, who killed witnesses, who were kingpins that are now back on the streets for the most part,” he continues.

“Silver lining: Some of them are still in federal prison because he shortened their sentences, but there’s still some are serving it out. Trump could refuse to release them,” he adds.

Peterson, while not exactly shocked, still can’t believe America really went through a time like this.

“So we really did have probably as bad, or worse, of a case, of any time in American history, a president who was dysfunctional sitting there in that office with these clowns around him.”

Florida nurse snags plea deal after husband allegedly ‘walked in’ on her having sex with underage stepson

A Florida nurse has reportedly taken a plea deal to reduce her prison sentence in the case of her husband allegedly walking in on her sexually abusing her underage stepson.

According to a Marion County Sheriff’s Office arrest affidavit previously obtained by People magazine, 34-year-old Alexis Von Yates is accused of engaging in sexual activities with an underage boy on July 30, 2024.

Yates’ husband reportedly ‘walked in’ on his wife sexually abusing his 15-year-old son.

Yates — of Ocala — was arrested Nov. 6, 2024.

Yates was initially charged with sexual battery on a person 12 to 18 years of age by a person in familial custody.

Yates’ nursing license was immediately suspended following her arrest.

Last Thursday, Yates entered a no-contest plea to a lesser charge of lewd and lascivious battery, according to WCJB-TV.

Court TV reported, “Prosecutors said the victim’s family supported the negotiated plea to avoid requiring the 15-year-old victim to return to Florida to testify, which they feared would disrupt his ongoing mental health treatment.”

Law & Crime reported in April that the alleged victim was on vacation and visiting his father for the summer when the purported sexual acts occurred.

“His father worked late hours as a lineman,” Yates’ arrest affidavit states. “The child victim was hanging out with his stepmother while she was taking care of his younger siblings. … Around 11 p.m., the two of them began relaxing on the couch, ‘hitting’ a THC cartridge together while playing a video game. Several hours later … they decided to watch a movie.”

Yates and the minor both agreed that the movie was “boring,” the affidavit reads.

“Ms. Yates told victim that she was ‘horny,'” the Florida Department of Health claimed. “Victim laid on top of Ms. Yates. Ms. Yates allowed victim to kiss Ms. Yates’ neck, pull down Ms. Yates’ shorts and underwear to her ankles.”

Yates and the alleged victim reportedly engaged in sexual acts, including intercourse, according to court documents.

Yates’ husband reportedly “walked in” on his wife sexually abusing his 15-year-old son.

“Nurses are placed in a position of trust,” the DOH said. “Therefore, it is imperative that they demonstrate good judgment and good moral character. Ms. Yates’ decision to engage in sexual activity with a minor child and/or her decision to allow a child to engage her in oral and penetrative sex indicates that she lacks the good judgment and moral character necessary to be a registered nurse.”

Under the terms of the plea agreement, Yates will serve two years in the Department of Corrections, followed by two years of community control as well as 10 years of sex offender probation, according to Court TV.

Yates must also complete 200 hours of community service, plus pay fines and court costs.

Trump cracks down on anti-American flag-burners with potential jail time

President Donald Trump on Monday signed several executive orders to restore the rule of law across the nation, including action to protect America’s “most sacred and cherished symbol.”

Trump signed “Prosecuting Burning of the American Flag” to prevent the desecration of the Stars and Stripes.

‘The president is right to be concerned about the desecration of one of the proudest symbols of our nation.’

“Would you listen to this? This is very important,” Trump stated during Monday’s signing in the Oval Office.

“All over the country they’re burning flags.”

“Through a very sad court, I guess it was a five-to-four decision, they called it freedom of speech,” the president stated, referring to the Texas v. Johnson Supreme Court case in 1989.

“When you burn the American flag, it incites riots at levels that we’ve never seen before. People go crazy,” he continued.

“If you burn a flag, you get one year in jail. No early exit. No nothing.”

The White House contended that burning the flag is “a statement of contempt, hostility, and violence against our Nation” that “may incite violence and riot.”

“American Flag burning is also used by groups of foreign nationals as a calculated act to intimidate and threaten violence against Americans because of their nationality and place of birth,” the administration added.

According to the EO, those who desecrate the American flag could face charges related to burning restrictions, disorderly conduct, or destruction of property.

Anti-immigration-enforcement protesters have held several demonstrations this year where they have burned American flags.

Trump’s latest executive action has sparked bipartisan debate about whether flag-burning should be protected under the First Amendment.

“The president is right to be concerned about the desecration of one of the proudest symbols of our nation. This executive order will eventually allow the Justice Department to ask the U.S. Supreme Court to revisit — and potentially overturn — a prior precedent saying that burning the American flag is constitutionally protected ‘speech’ under the First Amendment,” Zack Smith, a senior legal fellow and manager with the Heritage Foundation, told Blaze News.

Journalist Christopher Rufo highlighted how some individuals have been prosecuted for burning or damaging Pride flags.

“I’m sorry, but as long as this is the status quo, I’m not going to work myself into a state of hysteria about Trump’s executive order on burning the American flag,” Rufo wrote in a post on social media.

He noted that he is “sympathetic to the argument that burning the American flag is protected speech.”

Trump also signed on Monday two executive orders that aim to eliminate cashless bail systems across the United States.

Cracker Barrel responds with sneaky message after backlash over rebrand

Cracker Barrel wants Americans to move forward following intense blowback after the company rebranded its iconic logo and stores.

The beloved franchise was dragged through the mud when customers noticed a change to its recognizable logo, which removed the “old-timer” known as Uncle Herschel sitting on a chair next to a barrel. The brand took it a step further by also removing the barrel itself and erasing the text “Old Country Store.”

‘Nobody asked for a remodel for modern dining!’

This left the logo as just black “Cracker Barrel” text on a yellow background, zapping the fun and charm out of not only the company website, but more importantly, the interior of its locations.

After millions voiced their disdain with the rebrand, Cracker Barrel formally responded Monday morning, but it may not be what consumers were hoping for.

“If the last few days have shown us anything, it’s how deeply people care about Cracker Barrel,” the company posted on Facebook.

“You’ve also shown us that we could’ve done a better job sharing who we are and who we’ll always be,” the post continues.

With a “promise” to its guests, the company wrote that it will not be getting rid of its rocking chairs, hearth, peg games, or unique treasures. But the same cannot be said for unique design of the stores or the old logo.

RELATED: Cracker Barrel ditches Americana as customers call for boycott over iconic brand change

Cracker Barrel said it loved seeing how much people care about Uncle Herschel and that it will still include him on the menu, “road signs,” and as a feature in the country stores.

“He’s not going anywhere — he’s family,” the company claimed.

Reading between the lines, though, it seems Cracker Barrel is sticking with the new logo and interior design that have received so much criticism. The company message then jumped into menu items, listing off products like country fried steak and pancakes.

“While our logo and remodels may be making headlines, our bigger focus is still right where it belongs … in the kitchen and on your plate,” Cracker Barrel stated.

“We know we won’t always get everything right the first time, but we’ll keep testing, learning, and listening to our guests and employees,” the company added, before invoking the “old-timer” one last time.

“Uncle Herschel wouldn’t have it any other way.”

RELATED: Cracker Barrel’s long history of cozying up to left-leaning organizations exposed: Report

Readers were not fooled, and they let the company know in the comment section.

“If you are leaving him on the menus and road signs then leave him on the logo,” Betty wrote.

“Nobody asked for a remodel for modern dining! A lot of folks go to Cracker Barrel for nostalgia!!!!” Facebook user Audra stated.

Real people even asked the brand, “Why take him off your logo?” while others stated they would not be returning to the restaurant.

“You change, I change! I’ll change where I eat and shop, and it won’t be Cracker Barrel,” Randy added.

Only time will tell whether remaining committed to the rebrand will help or hurt the company, but at the same time, the publicity has brought focus to the brand’s left-wing activism.

Cracker Barrel had previously boasted about its “culture and inclusion” initiatives that celebrate race- and gender-based programs. While its website has gone through a revamp and changed the terminology to “culture and belonging,” it still promotes programs like “Be Bold,” a mission to develop “black leaders,” and the “LGBTQ+ Alliance.”

The purpose of the latter is “strengthening Cracker Barrel’s relationship to the LGBTQ+ community.”

Trump makes a bold push for global competitors to abandon nukes: ‘The power is too great’

In his latest push for peace, President Donald Trump called for the denuclearization of two global superpowers.

In the Oval Office Monday, Trump called on Russia and China to abandon their nuclear programs, saying denuclearization is a “big aim” for the administration. Trump also signaled that Russia was “willing” to denuclearize and expressed confidence that China would follow.

‘We can’t let nuclear weapons proliferate.’

“One thing we’re trying to do with Russia and with China is denuclearization,” Trump said. “It’s very important.”

“One of the things I discussed with President Putin the other day, it wasn’t just that, it was also other things,” Trump added. “And I think the denuclearization is a big aim. But Russia is willing to do it, and I think China is going to be willing to do it, too.”

“We can’t let nuclear weapons proliferate,” Trump said. “We have to stop nuclear weapons. The power is too great.”

Trump’s call to denuclearize the two superpowers is a reiteration of his remarks from February, when he lamented the financial and moral cost of nuclear war.

“There’s no reason for us to be building brand-new nuclear weapons. We already have so many,” Trump said at the beginning of his second term. “You could destroy the world 50 times over, 100 times over. And here we are building new nuclear weapons, and they’re building nuclear weapons.”

Radical left poised to redefine America’s cities

Major cities across the country show radical leaders gaining momentum in their races for mayor — and New York City candidate Zohran Mamdani is leading them all.

The AARP New York-Gotham Polling and Analytics poll shows that the Queens assemblyman has taken a commanding lead in every possible scenario in this year’s race, with a whopping 41.8% support.

The same poll had former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who’s running as an independent, with 23.4% support; Republican nominee and Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa with 16.5% support; and incumbent Mayor Eric Adams, who is seeking re-election as an independent, with only 8.8% support.

“Even Sliwa is ahead of Eric Adams. Why do they hate this guy so much?” BlazeTV host Pat Gray says on “Pat Gray Unleashed.”

“It’s too bad, ’cause he’s not done that bad a job, I don’t think,” he adds.

Over in Minneapolis, Democratic socialist and mayoral candidate Omar Fateh, a Somali-American, is holding his political rallies — which don’t appear to feature any American flags — in a foreign language.

Gray is disturbed, only muttering, “Minneapolis, Minnesota.”

Trump moves to end radical left’s cashless bail to restore law and order nationwide

President Donald Trump is hoping to restore law and order to American streets.

Trump signed two executive orders on Monday that aim to end cashless bail. The first order, Measures to End Cashless Bail and Enforce the Law in the District of Columbia, targets Washington, D.C., calling for “all necessary and lawful measures [to] be taken to end cashless bail policies and ensure the pretrial detention of any criminal suspect who threatens public safety.”

‘I think it’s long overdue.’

The second order, Taking Steps to End Cashless Bail to Protect Americans, aims to more broadly eliminate cashless bail programs across the United States. The EOs threaten to pull federal funding for jurisdictions that refuse to terminate those policies.

Attorney General Pam Bondi will reportedly provide the president with a list of jurisdictions that have a cashless bail system.

D.C. largely eliminated cash bail in the 1990s. Illinois, New Jersey, and New Mexico also ended their cash bail system, according to World Population Review. States with reduced or limited use of cash bail include Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky, and Maryland.

The White House blamed the “radical” left for turning “streets of America’s cities into hunting grounds for repeat criminals.”

A Monday press release from the White House listed several incidents in which suspects were released without bail in New York and D.C. and went on to allegedly commit additional offenses.

“President Donald J. Trump’s aggressive crackdown to end the failed experiment known as ‘cashless bail’ aims to get violent criminals off our streets — starting in Washington, D.C., where dangerous predators are being set free to offend again and again,” the administration stated.

Dave Goitia, the president of the Glendale Fraternal Order of Police and an active sworn police officer, told Blaze News, “In many inner cities, we’re seeing local politicians who are incapable of enacting policies to protect their communities, and they’re focused on ideology. A lot of these weak decisions — they’re more focused on political pandering, and they completely ignore the realities, in terms of consequences.”

“I think it’s refreshing to see the federal government step in, and President Trump is doing things that we haven’t seen before. I think it resonates with a lot of people,” he added. “I think it’s long overdue.”

Rep. Elise Stefanik. Photo by Kent Nishimura/Getty Images

Crime victim advocate April Aguirre told Blaze News that ending cashless bail is “very important to balance the scales,” adding that she supports Trump’s executive orders.

“We are graduating people that commit misdemeanors into felons. We are showing them that we have a weak system that is not going to take things seriously,” she said of the current cashless bail systems.

“We have to stop sympathizing with criminals and stop with the misaligned sympathies. We need to focus back on the law-abiding citizens that are being affected by this,” Aguirre continued. “I love that Trump’s putting back common sense into our judicial system.”

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) has pledged to introduce legislation to codify Trump’s executive actions.

“Kathy Hochul and NY Democrats’ failed bail reform has been a catastrophic disaster leading to a crime crisis in New York making every family and community less safe. Again and again, Kathy Hochul has prioritized violent criminals over law-abiding New Yorkers. Enough is enough,” Stefanik stated. “I strongly support President Trump’s executive order to end cashless bail. I will be working to lead the effort in Congress to codify this executive order with legislation.”

D.C. Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser’s office declined Axios’ request for comment.

White Stripes singer writes unhinged essay about Trump being a ‘fascist’ who faked getting shot

Singer Jack White from the White Stripes is not short on ideas when it comes to the White House or the Trump administration.

Last week, White posted a picture of President Donald Trump’s meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and labeled the White House decor as “vulgar, gold leafed, and gaudy.”

The scathing review of the president’s interior design skills were coupled with typical commentary about Trump possessing the nuclear codes and being an “embarrassment to American history.”

But White did have something good to say before he was finished.

‘A washed up, has-been loser posting drivel on social media.’

The 50-year-old praised Zelenskyy in that same post, calling him “a REAL leader of a nation in a black suit.”

Following White’s remarks, White House communications director Steven Cheung insulted the musician. He called White “a washed up, has-been loser posting drivel on social media because he clearly has ample time on his hands due to his stalled career.”

Cheung defended the White House decor in his comments to the Daily Beast, adding that White “fails to appreciate” the magnificence of the Oval Office.

White did not take the insults lightly and offloaded what seemed to be a decade’s worth of gripes with President Trump that ranged from claims about January 6, 2021, to Trump’s assassination attempt in 2024.

RELATED: ‘Left-wing lesbian atheists’: Oasis singer mocks liberal comedian who said he stole her audience

While White claimed he was shocked at the White House’s response — despite him calling Trump an embarrassment and a “con-man” — he listed an array of claims in an Instagram post about the president, comparing him to the Nazis several times.

White said Trump has manipulated the government like a “fascist,” that ICE uses “gestapo” tactics, and that the president has made racist remarks about Latinos, Native Americans, and even has made “attacks on the disabled.”

More comments about “nazi like rallies” were coupled with the claim that Trump had faked getting shot in the ear, which White said was evidenced by the president not showing “medical records or photographs” of the shooting.

White also accused Cheung and White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt of “covering up” fascism as patriotism.

The singer seemingly has an issue with everything the president does, claiming Trump has not improved America at all and that any changes Trump has made are only “smoke and mirrors” to benefit the “ultra wealthy.”

Still, White defended himself in the post as “not a Democrat” and labeled Trump voters as victims “of the 2 party system.”

RELATED: Iconic actress tells ‘James Bond’ star to his face: ‘James Bond has to be a guy’

Perhaps White was a victim of the same system when he performed at a Bernie Sanders rally when the senator ran for president as a Democrat in 2020, the second time he had done so.

White’s post touched on every possible angle of Trump criticism, leaving no space for grace for the twice-elected president. The musician’s Trump-related insults run the gamut, with White even calling Trump’s agenda “white supremacist.”

Also, like many anti-Trump activists, White even decided he was the arbiter of Christianity when he said Trump has been “masquerading as a Christian,” claiming Trump’s voters support him because “he hates who [they] hate.”

“How christian of you all,” White concluded.

‘Stop talking and get to work’: Trump blasts Democrat Gov. Wes Moore over Maryland crime

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore appears eager to paint a rosy picture of his state and to downplay the severity of its crime problem. President Donald Trump simply isn’t buying what the Democrat is selling.

The president announced on Aug. 11 that he was federalizing the Washington Metropolitan Police Department and deploying the National Guard in order to “re-establish law, order, and public safety” to the national capital.

FBI statistics show that Baltimore has ‘the fifth-most instances of violent crime on a per capita basis, [and the] fourth-highest murder rate.’

Despite complaints from Democrats and other leftists, the initiative has been tremendously successful. In the first week, D.C. saw a 19% drop in property crimes and a 17% drop in violent crimes when compared with the previous week. The city also enjoyed at least 10 days without a murder.

Trump indicated at the outset that he has a mind to similarly bring law and order to other crime-ridden cities, including Baltimore, a city of fewer than 570,000 people, which has a 1 rating on Neighborhood Scout’s crime index where 100 is safest. Trump’s threat of a life-saving federal intervention did not sit well with Moore.

Less than two weeks after offering a knee-jerk critique of the president’s deployment of the National Guard, Moore suggested in an Aug. 21 letter to Trump that his state and the city of Baltimore are making progress where crime is concerned, citing a supposed 20% drop in homicides statewide since he took office two and a half years ago and a 22% year-over-year decrease in Baltimore homicides in the first six months of 2025.

Moore suggested that Baltimore was “on track to have the lowest number of homicides” since the city began officially keeping crime statistics, then invited Trump to attend a “public safety walk” in September.

RELATED: The numbers hold terrible news for the Democrats’ future

The Democratic governor followed up his letter with an interview on Sunday with CBS News’ “Face the Nation,” where he vowed not to authorize the Maryland National Guard to be utilized for Trump’s law and order initiative; characterized the deployment of the National Guard as “unconstitutional”; and claimed that Trump was both “living in this blissful ignorance” and engaging in “1980s scare tactics” on the crime issue.

Baltimore’s Democrat mayor, Brandon Scott, has similarly suggested that Trump is pushing a false narrative about the crime problem in Maryland, stating, “When it comes to public safety in Baltimore, [Trump] should turn off the right-wing propaganda and look at the facts. Baltimore is the safest it’s been in over 50 years.”

‘Stop talking and get to work, Wes.’

Despite signaling an aversion to federal troops in Baltimore and suggesting things have improved in his city, Mayor Scott has called for “additional resources for Baltimore’s ATF, DEA, and FBI field offices.”

Moore did not argue with talking head Margaret Brennan when she acknowledged that FBI statistics show that Baltimore has “the fifth-most instances of violent crime on a per capita basis, [and the] fourth-highest murder rate,” but he rejected Trump’s strategy in D.C. as a possible remedy, calling it “purely performative.”

Trump punched back on Sunday, writing on Truth Social, “Governor Wes Moore of Maryland has asked, in a rather nasty and provocative tone, that I ‘walk the streets of Maryland’ with him. I assume he is talking about out of control, crime ridden, Baltimore? As President, I would much prefer that he clean up this Crime disaster before I go there for a ‘walk.'”

“Wes Moore’s record on Crime is a very bad one, unless he fudges his figures on crime like many of the other ‘Blue States’ are doing. But if Wes Moore needs help, like Gavin Newscum did in L.A., I will send in the ‘troops,’ which is being done in nearby DC, and quickly clean up the Crime,” continued Trump. “After only one week, there is NO CRIME AND NO MURDER IN DC! When it is like that in Baltimore, I will proudly ‘walk the streets’ with the failing, because of Crime, Governor of Maryland. P.S. Baltimore is ranked the 4th WORST CITY IN THE NATION IN CRIME & MURDER.”

“Stop talking and get to work, Wes. I’ll then see you on the streets!” added the president.

Rep. Cory Mills to appear in court following bombshell accusations from Miss United States

A court document obtained by Blaze News reveals that a final hearing date has been set, ordering the appearance of Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) in a petition for injunction for protection against dating violence filed by the reigning Miss United States, Lindsey Langston. The hearing is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the Columbia County Courthouse in Lake City, Florida.

Blaze News reported on August 5, 2025, that Ms. Langston alleged that she was the victim of revenge-porn threats by Mills following the breakup of their three-year relationship in February of this year.

‘I can send him a few videos of you as well.’

The original court hearing in this case was held via Zoom video conference on August 18, but was cut short at the request of Langston’s counsel, Bobi J. Frank, who explained to the court that they could not possibly present their case for a restraining order against Mills in the “17 minutes” of time allotted.

In that initial hearing, Florida Circuit Judge Fred Koberlein Jr. responded by asking both Frank and Mills’ attorney how much time they each would need to present their arguments and witnesses. Both parties asked for 45 minutes each. The judge then instructed the parties to present to the court mutually agreed-upon dates — at the earliest possible time — for a final hearing.

The basis for Langston’s petition stems from a series of text messages she allegedly received from the congressman, in which he threatened to send photos and videos of the two having sex during their relationship to any current or future romantic partner Langston might have.

In one such text message shared with Blaze News, Mills threatened Langston, “I can send him a few videos of you as well,” and said, “Oh, I still have them.”

In other messages, Mills seemed to also threaten violence against any potential Langston suitors, saying, “[You] may want to tell every guy you date that if we run into each other at any point. Strap up cowboy.”

Langston made an effort to fully understand the intentions conveyed by Mills’ texts, asking, “So I can be with you, be alone, or be scared that you’ll hurt whoever is in my life in the future?” Mills replied, “Take it how you want,” one screenshot revealed.

Langston shared with Blaze News her concerns about these threatening text messages. “Am I gonna wake up one day to videos of us having sex on social media?” she wondered. “Because I know he has them, and he’s put it in writing.”

On July 14, Langston filed a report with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office about Mills’ alleged threats of releasing revenge porn against her. She then spoke with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement a week later.

Sexual extortion, under Florida statute, is a second-degree felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison, 15 years of probation, and a $10,000 fine.
