In the wake of two successful defamation suits brought against the legacy media over the past year, President Trump is seeking justice against a longtime detractor. His current target: the New York Times.

“Today, I have the Great Honor of bringing a $15 Billion Dollar Defamation and Libel Lawsuit against The New York Times, one of the worst and most degenerate newspapers in the History of our Country, becoming a virtual ‘mouthpiece’ for the Radical Left Democrat Party,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

‘The New York Times has been allowed to freely lie, smear, and defame me for far too long, and that stops, NOW!’

Trump added. “The ‘Times’ has engaged in a decades long method of lying about your Favorite President (ME!), my family, business, the America First Movement, MAGA, and our Nation as a whole. I am PROUD to hold this once respected ‘rag’ responsible.”

Specifically, Trump is suing over the “defamatory, malicious, and false” publication of a book and three articles that he claims were intended to “kill three birds with one stone”: “damage President Trump’s hard-earned and world-renowned reputation for business success,” “sabotage his 2024 candidacy for President of the United States,” and “prejudice judges and juries in the unlawful cases brought against President Trump, his family, and his businesses by his political opponents for purposes of election interference.”

The book, “Lucky Loser: How Donald Trump Squandered His Father’s Fortune and Created the Illusion of Success,” and the article “The Star-Making Machine That Created ‘Donald Trump’” were written by Susanne Craig and Russ Buettner. Another article mentioned in the suit is “For Trump, a Lifetime of Scandals Heads Toward a Moment of Judgment” by Peter Baker. The third article, written by Michael S. Schmidt, is entitled “As Election Nears, Kelly Warns Trump Would Rule Like a Dictator.”

The authors are named as defendants alongside the New York Times and Penguin Random House LLC.

A spokesperson for the New York Times responded on Tuesday morning: “This lawsuit has no merit. It lacks any legitimate legal claims and instead is an attempt to stifle and discourage independent reporting. The New York Times will not be deterred by intimidation tactics. We will continue to pursue the facts without fear or favor and stand up for journalists’ First Amendment right to ask questions on behalf of the American people.”

The president cited his successful record of litigation “against George Slopadopoulos/ABC/Disney, and 60 Minutes/CBS/Paramount, who knew that they were falsely ‘smearing’ me through a highly sophisticated system of document and visual alteration, which was, in effect, a malicious form of defamation, and thus, settled for record amounts.”

Trump won a defamation case against ABC News and anchor George Stephanopoulos, who agreed to pay $15 million to Trump’s organization in addition to $1 million in Trump’s legal fees. The case concerned claims made by Stephanopoulos on the network that Trump was found liable for the rape of E. Jean Carroll.

Likewise, Paramount Global and CBS News agreed to pay $16 million for Trump’s future presidential library in a settlement of a suit regarding the infamous “60 Minutes” interview with 2024 presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

“The New York Times has been allowed to freely lie, smear, and defame me for far too long, and that stops, NOW!” he added.

The lawsuit has been brought in Florida.

President Donald Trump signaled on Monday that Antifa militants might soon find themselves designated as domestic terrorists.

When asked about such a designation in the wake of his friend Charlie Kirk’s assassination by a coward whose ammunition was reportedly engraved with Antifa slogans, the president said, “It’s something I would do, yeah.”

“I would do that 100% — and others also, by the way,” continued Trump. “But Antifa is terrible.”

Trump indicated that Attorney General Pam Bondi would likely need to get the ball rolling on the designation and noted that they have been discussing possibly bringing racketeering charges against liberal groups that back similar stripes of leftist extremists.

Blaze News has reached out to the Justice Department for comment.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller made clear in his Monday conversation with Vice President JD Vance on “The Charlie Kirk Show” that “we are going to channel all of the anger that we have over the organized campaign that led to this assassination to uproot and dismantle these terrorist networks.”

“We are going to use every resource we have at the Department of Justice, Homeland Security, and throughout this government to identify, disrupt, dismantle, and destroy these networks and make America safe again for the American people,” added Miller.

‘You fight them with guns so you don’t have to fight them with tanks.’

While Democrats have downplayed Antifa violence and in some cases even denied the group’s existence, the president has long understood the real threat posed by the largely decentralized yet deadly revolutionary anarcho-communist group.

After all, they haven’t exactly hidden themselves or their intentions.

A Baltimore Antifa militant provided a good insight into the radicals’ thinking when he told historian Mark Bray, the author of “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook,” that when it comes to fighting so-called fascists, which appears to be a catch-all term for individuals standing in communists’ way, “You fight them by writing letters and making phone calls so you don’t have to fight them with fists. You fight them with fists so you don’t have to fight them with knives. You fight them with knives so you don’t have to fight them with guns. You fight them with guns so you don’t have to fight them with tanks.”

Evidently, Antifa militants have decided to skip letters and phone calls.

Amid the bloody 2020 Black Lives Matter riots, which inflicted billions of dollars in damage, left thousands of police injured, and claimed the lives of at least 25 Americans, Trump stated, “The United States of America will be designating ANTIFA as a Terrorist Organization.”

‘Now you could argue, and I think it would legitimate, for a single terrorism designation against Antifa as a foreign terrorist organization.’

Then-Attorney General Bill Barr noted, “The violence instigated and carried out by Antifa and other similar groups in connection with the rioting is domestic terrorism and will be treated accordingly.”

While the State Department has been granted the authority under the law to designate foreign groups as terrorist organizations, America does not similarly have an overarching domestic terrorism statute. As a result, the government tends to investigate and prosecute acts of domestic terrorism on an individual basis.

Various Republican lawmakers have unsuccessfully attempted in recent years to create an official domestic terrorism organization list — and to put Antifa on it.

Kyle Shideler, a senior analyst at the Center for Security Policy, told “Blaze News: The Mandate” on Monday that the Trump administration should instead “induct a number of designations against Antifa-linked groups, primarily in Europe but across the world.”

“Now you could argue, and I think it would be legitimate, for a single terrorism designation against Antifa as a foreign terrorist organization,” continued Shideler. “If you try to designate Antifa just as a single movement, what I suspect you’ll find is that the bureaucrats will say, ‘We don’t know what that is. That’s not a thing that exists.'”

Shideler suggested an optimal approach would be to find a number of foreign Antifa groups, tie them back to an international Antifa network such as the the International Anti-Fascist Defense Fund, “then you go after U.S.-based groups that are also tied to that international network, and so you build a series of designations that way.”

The Trump White House appears keen on making sure that Antifa militants are held accountable this time around.

Pastor Howard-John Wesley, a black minister, has used the atrocious assassination of Charlie Kirk to rack up millions of views for preaching about the late Turning Point USA founder as being a “weapon of the enemy.”

“Charlie Kirk did not deserve to be assassinated. But I’m overwhelmed, seeing the flags of the United States of America at half-staff, calling this nation to honor and venerate a man who was an unapologetic racist and spent all of his life sowing seeds of division and hate into this land,” Wesley said.

“And hearing people with selective rage, who were mad about Charlie Kirk but didn’t give a damn about Melissa Hortman and her husband when they were shot down in their home, tell me I ought to have compassion for the death of a man who had no respect for my own life,” he continued.

“I am sorry, but there’s nowhere in Bible where we are taught to honor evil. And how you die does not redeem how you lived. You do not become a hero in your death when you are a weapon of the enemy in your life. I can abhor the violence that took your life, but I don’t have to celebrate how you chose to live,” he concluded.

BlazeTV host Jason Whitlock is disgusted — and can’t help but recall the not-so-distant past when the left martyred an actual criminal.

“I would ask this minister … explain to me George Floyd. And let’s compare George Floyd to Charlie Kirk. And so when we talk about how Charlie Kirk lived, he went to church, he evangelized for Christ, he got married, he honored his wife, he had two kids, as far as I know, never accused of a crime,” Whitlock says.

“I think it’s difficult to say Charlie Kirk lived a life of racism. You know, he was a political activist. He was an evangelist for Christianity. He was a husband, a father of two kids,” he continues.

George Floyd, on the other hand, Whitlock says, died in a way equal to how he lived.

“George Floyd lived doing drugs and committing crimes,” he says. “But how he died, which was a drug overdose while four police officers were on the scene and Derek Chauvin was restraining him, that changed everything about George Floyd.”

“Charlie Kirk was assassinated not for resisting arrest, not for throwing a punch at anybody,” he continues, adding that it was “for debating people.”

What do a Hindu nationalist prime minister, a former KGB autocrat, and communist China’s imperial strongman have in common?

Apparently, enough to walk arm in arm at the recent Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in China — smiling for the cameras, toasting regional “cooperation,” and calling for a new global order that doesn’t revolve around Washington, Brussels, or the International Monetary Fund.

Each of these leaders — Xi, Putin, Modi — believes his country has been talked down to by a West that still sees itself as the default setting of human civilization.

Watching Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Chinese President Xi Jinping embrace in Tianjin earlier this month may strike Western observers as a diplomatic absurdity — a Lovecraftian alliance of contradictions. But it’s only absurd if you’re still trapped in the fog of 1990s end-of-history delusions.

In reality, what we’re seeing is a convergence of deeply rooted civilizations — ancient empires with long memories — asserting that they won’t be subordinated to a West that still believes it owns the future.

To understand this moment, you need to understand history — not just the last 80 years, but the last 800.

Reclaiming ancient identities

China was the “middle kingdom” long before it became the world’s factory. It ruled as a centralized, Confucian empire for millennia — containing its own tributary states, cultures, and contradictions. The current Chinese Communist Party regime doesn’t just govern China; it is consciously rebuilding it as a totalitarian civilizational state aimed at restoring its former glory and avenging its “century of humiliation.” Xi Jinping’s “rejuvenation of the Chinese nation” is a project explicitly rooted in a return to imperial pre-eminence, not democratic inclusion.

Russia, for its part, never really stopped being an empire. Whether it flew the tsarist eagle, the Soviet hammer and sickle, or today’s revanchist flag of Russian Orthodoxy and gas pipelines, it has always been a civilizational project stretching across 11 time zones. Putin’s Russia isn’t looking to export an ideology — he trades in memory, borders, and ensuring it’s never again humiliated by NATO expansion or IMF diktats.

And India — too often misunderstood as just the world’s largest democracy — is in the midst of rediscovering its own cultural core. While India has never sustained a single continuous empire, Modi’s India is assertive, spiritual, and unapologetically Hindu in its civilizational narrative. While he plays nice on global stages, he is keen to shed India’s post-colonial skin and assert its role not as a subordinate in the West’s rules-based order, but as a peer.

Of course, these aren’t natural allies. India and China have come to blows in the Himalayas. Russia and China eye each other warily in Central Asia. Modi can’t forget the border clashes or China’s tech intrusion. Putin sells weapons and hydrocarbons to both. But what unites them now is something the West continues to ignore: a shared rejection of subordination.

Each of these leaders — Xi, Putin, Modi — believes his country has been talked down to by a West that still sees itself as the default setting of human civilization.

A unified front against the West

The SCO summit wasn’t about solving their differences. It was about presenting a united front against a common narrative: the unyielding insistence by Washington and Brussels that there is one set of rules for everyone else and another for the liberal West.

And it’s not lost on anyone in the East that Western Europe has all but collapsed economically — not because of war or invasion, but because of its own self-inflicted obsession with net-zero fantasies. Energy costs have skyrocketed, industries are fleeing, and the once-mighty militaries of Germany, France, and the U.K. are now barely functional. Their foreign policies rest on rhetoric, not strength. They outsourced their energy to Russia and their deterrence to America — and now have neither.

Meanwhile, China, India, and Russia burn coal, build steel, and mobilize armies.

The world is not “deglobalizing”; rather, the world’s center of economic gravity has shifted.

If trade gets blocked in one place, whether by sanctions or tariffs, it reappears in other ones. As Louis Gave explains:

The Western world attempted to trigger a collapse in the Russian economy by blocking access to the U.S. dollar, euro, British pound, and Swiss franc. Unsurprisingly, Russia immediately shifted to selling its commodities for renminbi, Indian rupees, Brazilian real, or Thai baht, and trade between Russia and the world’s major emerging markets went parabolic.

China’s trade surplus has surged by opening new markets for its products. In 2017, the value of Chinese exports to ASEAN economies amounted to 60% of China’s exports to the U.S. Today, China’s exports to Southeast Asia stand at roughly 120% of China’s exports to the U.S.

A multipolar world

The American foreign policy class loves binaries: democracy vs. autocracy, order vs. chaos, good guys vs. bad guys. But history doesn’t care about binaries. It cares about power, memory, geography, and pride.

That’s what brings these “strange bedfellows” together. They don’t need to love each other. They just need to agree that the current world order is not designed with their civilizations in mind.

And as America potentially turns back to America First — which is long overdue — it’s worth recognizing that this time, the rest of the world isn’t standing still. Unipolar globalization is no longer the key organizing principle. The East now speaks with a louder voice, and it contains over half the world’s population and represents almost 40% of global GDP. A second Trump term can’t simply reassert American dominance by fiat.

America First with guile

The SCO summit was more than a photo op. It was a signal. That signal is this: The old rules-based order isn’t binding any more. The future isn’t unipolar; it’s multipolar and won’t be built only on Western terms.

This is not a call for appeasement. It’s a call to engage with these ancient empires by leveraging our strengths with strategic humility and guile.

America First must deal from strength and with awareness that it no longer holds all the cards. President Trump knows how to read a room. He now needs to read a world where the emperors are back. And this time, together, they’re working on a plan.

Over the past nine years, Americans have watched mobs topple, decapitate, and deface our statues. They have threatened our saints and desecrated our graves. Churches have been firebombed, torched, and stoned. Activists, reporters, politicians, and judges have faced threats at their homes. Families have endured harassment, students and speakers have been assaulted, and ordinary citizens have been besieged while police stood by — or looked the other way.

Nine years of warning signs piled up. We ignored them. We sped past every flashing signal, comforting ourselves with America’s deep well of goodwill and tolerance for disruptive behavior. We closed our eyes and hoped the storm would blow over.

I can’t tell you why it came as such a shock, because we all know one thing more: It was bound to happen. They told us so.

It wasn’t just statues and churches under attack — though history shows that when mobs destroy symbols of faith and culture, they soon target people next. Violence on campus offered some of the earliest and clearest warnings. By 2016 and 2017, speakers such as the Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro, provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos, and the Claremont Institute’s Charles Murray required heavy police protection. Others were assaulted outright.

One notorious case at San Francisco State University showed just how far the rot had spread. A mob cut the lights, then chased and trapped former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines. She said a man in a dress assaulted her twice. The crowd demanded a ransom before allowing her to leave. Video showed security rushing her into a classroom as the mob bayed in the hallway.

Despite the testimony and evidence, the university refused to make a single arrest or discipline a single student.

These victims had committed a grievous offense in the mob’s eyes: daring to speak ideas professors and administrators had marked as violent. Campus gatekeepers trained students to treat words as weapons and to defend campuses like fortresses. Conservative, Christian, or dissenting speakers were framed as invading forces to be repelled.

More insidious attacks followed. Swatting — phoning fake emergency calls to provoke an armed police response — goes back to the Tea Party era, but it exploded in the past few years. Targets included elected officials such as Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) and Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.), plus legal analyst Jonathan Turley.

By 2025, conservative internet personalities topped the list. In one week in March, attackers mounted 15 known swattings against conservative figures. The threat grew so severe that media companies advised hosts and reporters to pre-register a cellphone number with local police so that responding officers would have a number to call if responding to a “shooting.”

Swatting isn’t a prank. It’s attempted murder. Armed officers are answering a call that claims there’s an active shooter and will enter a home where families sleep. In that chaotic, high-stakes moment, someone can — and often does — get killed.

On the morning of Sept. 10, 2025, the threat we’d been warning about stopped being an abstract danger and became a crushing reality. We knew a sizeable number of left-wing activists had embraced violence as a tactic. We knew too many on the academy-activist circuit treated dissent as a mortal wound to the community. We knew campus administrators shrugged. And yet when a friend, colleague, mentor, Christian, husband, and young father fell to an assassin’s bullet in broad daylight, the world still felt stunned.

We had watched the escalation for years: arson, vandalism, statue-toppling, threats shoved into social feeds and then normalized by influencers and even some officials. We saw mobs target speakers, watched colleges shield agitators and punish critics, and read the posts that cheered harm or called for more. Those warnings were real warnings — not hyperbole. When rhetoric hardens into endorsement, violence follows predictable paths.

Maybe we shouldn’t have been surprised that the violence materialized on a sunny Wednesday in September. Maybe our shock came because the victim wasn’t a faceless “other” but someone many of us knew and respected. That intimacy made this horror intolerable.

I can’t tell you why it came as such a shock, because we all know one thing more: It was bound to happen. They told us so.

A San Francisco community is stunned after the horrific stabbing death of a father who was walking his son home from elementary school on Wednesday.

A suspect in the incident was arrested on Friday about 170 miles away in Tuolumne County, but San Francisco police have not released many details from the horrible attack.

‘Immediately after this incident occurred, our officers began a tireless investigation to identify and apprehend the suspect. … We were relentless.’

Police said the stabbing was reported at about 4:30 p.m just yards away from the Commodore Sloat Elementary School at the crosswalk between Ocean Ave. and Junipero Serra Blvd.

“The homicide was horrific,” said San Francisco Police Department Interim Chief Paul Yep. “A father who was walking across the street with his son was fatally stabbed in the crosswalk after getting into an altercation with the suspect.”

The victim was identified as 35-year-old Robert Paul Byrd II.

His father said on social media that Byrd died while holding the hand of his 8-year-old son.

An altercation was reported between Byrd and the suspect, but few details were released about the nature of the argument.

“There were words that were exchanged, and other people heard the commotion and what was happening, and the perpetrator stabbed the victim and ran away,” said Supervisor Myrna Melgar, whose district includes the school.

Yep said dozens of officers worked around the clock to identify the suspect. They used evidence gathered from license plate readers, drones, surveillance cameras, and eyewitness accounts.

“Immediately after this incident occurred, our officers began a tireless investigation to identify and apprehend the suspect,” Yep said. “We were relentless.”

San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins tried to reassure the public by saying the attack was not random in nature, but offered no other details. She added that they are still trying to determine the exact charges to file against the suspect.

“The message is clear: If you commit a crime — especially a violent crime — we will find you, and we will arrest you,” San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie said.

A GoFundMe account set up for the victim’s family has raised more than $62K.

“Robert was a devoted father, a loving son, and a joyful presence to everyone who knew him,” the description on the page reads. “Family and friends remember him as someone who brought laughter and warmth wherever he went, a person who took life seriously but always found ways to share joy.”

​Dad stabbed to death, Stabbing outside grade school, San francisco crime, California crime, Crime 

When Charlie Kirk “passed into glory” last week, hearts across America — and even the world — were broken. Many turned to the Bible, seeking consolation amid the anger and the tears in the aftermath of such blatant evil. These scriptures, as they were for Charlie during his lifetime, were helpful and healing to those mourning his untimely death.

Consider that one of the very last things Charlie said was from 2 Corinthians 5:15:

And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again.

Charlie certainly would have wanted that from us: to go to the Bible for comfort. And so many family, friends, and colleagues (such as myself) did, using holy scripture to reflect on that great aspiration that Charlie now knows personally to be true: Jesus welcoming him into His heavenly kingdom with the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:21).

Free speech is the cornerstone of freedom itself, a principle Charlie embodied to an entire generation around the world.

Others echoed St. Paul, saying that Charlie:

Fought the good fight, finished the race, kept the faith. Now there is in store for [him] the crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to [him] on that day — and not only to [Charlie], but also to all who have longed for His appearing. (2 Timothy 4:7-8)

Personally, however, after wading through hours of deep sorrow, not only for the loss of a sweet man of stellar character and demeanor, but moreover for the possible fate of our fragile nation, I did not find total consolation in the scriptures — that is, not until I texted my brother-in-law words that jumped into my mind from Hebrews 11.

In that section of the New Testament, the author of Hebrews lists a litany of all the saints down through the ages (up until the mid-first century, that is). The writer draws a conclusion about all these saints using this phrase: “of whom the world was not worthy” (Hebrews 11:38).

Soon after my text, I happened to find this appropriate headline at, of all places, the Babylon Bee: “World Deemed Unworthy of Charlie Kirk.”

This expression resonated with me because it seemed so appropriate. It also instantly reminded me of the book “The Hiding Place” about Corrie ten Boom and her sister Betsy, who died in a concentration camp after the Nazis discovered their “crime” of hiding Jewish people. Betsy was certainly one of many from that dark era in world history “of whom the world was not worthy.” But it was because of saints like Betsy and Corrie who put their very lives on the line that the world emerged from its darkness into a new day of hope.

Just two days before Charlie’s assassination, I had written about what I saw to be the left’s chief nemesis: “The number one thing that those on the left hate is free speech.”

This hatred materializes ultimately in violence and death, which was proven true two days later in Orem, Utah.

Free speech is the cornerstone of freedom itself, a principle Charlie embodied to an entire generation around the world. His assassination was a symbolic killing of that freedom, too — but only if Charlie died in vain.

Jesus reminds us that “unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds” (John 12:24).

Now, the righteous fight that Charlie began is in the hands of those who continue to follow Jesus, the Prince of Peace:

I know, like others, I am still far away from shaking the ill-effects of that awful hour I learned that Charlie passed away. But I will continue to find the exceedingly abundant scriptures and words of Jesus that will help me make eternal sense of it all. Let me close with these final words of encouragement from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount:

Blessed are they who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

If you used the Bluesky app in the past couple of days, it would be hard not to notice just how bloodthirsty the Democratic Party has become — especially in the wake of the assassination of the right’s beloved Charlie Kirk.

One trend on the social media app has taken BlazeTV hosts Jill Savage and Matthew Peterson by surprise.

“There are a ton of crazies over there,” Savage says on “Blaze News: The Mandate.” “I am not on there, but they are basically saying, ‘Who’s next for all of this?’”

Leftists have been posting who they hope falls victim to the same fate as Charlie Kirk.

The most repeated names on this list include President Trump, J.K. Rowling, Joe Rogan, Matt Walsh, Ben Shapiro, Libs of TikTok, and Elon Musk.

“Charlie Kirk is dead (and has been for a few hours), Trump next please,” one user wrote on the left’s version of X.

“Unfortunately, this is what we will have to continue to deal with,” Savage says.

Blaze Media D.C. correspondent Christopher Bedford is also completely disturbed.

“The threats are real. The copycats are going to happen,” Bedford says.

“This really is a point where we can decide that we’re going to get better, or we can decide that we’re going to get much worse, much more quickly. And it’s going to take a serious turn by society, a serious rejection by the American left, by the universities — not just these businesses and these sports teams, but by the university system — of this kind of crap in order for this to actually have any kind of impact,” he explains.

“There needs to be significantly more accountability than there is right now. And funds need to be taken,” he continues. “And all these nonprofits that for the last five years have spent time funneling money towards bail funds for rioters, towards printing T-shirts that have guns on them with the trans flag that says ‘defend it’ … these people who fund groups that are professional agitators — well, those funds need to be ceased, and those boards of directors need to be investigated. These are crimes.”

I’ve seen so many people say they don’t understand why Charlie Kirk’s murder hit them so hard. They can’t explain it. Maybe my perspective as a recovering California liberal who now mourns his memory can help.

I attended my first Turning Point USA event in 2022, right around the time I committed myself to Christ. I was a fish out of water.

For context: In late 2021, CBS News fired me from my job at its San Diego affiliate for resisting the COVID shot. That deserves its own chapter someday, but the short version is this: I no longer knew where I belonged.

I had spent years climbing the small-markets-big-dreams world of local TV news, always chasing the hope of one day reporting for a major left-leaning outlet. My laptop carried a feminist bumper sticker my mom gave me. That was my identity.

But everything shifted when I saw the crimes against humanity news agencies committed during the COVID years. It was like someone ripped off my rose-colored glasses and stomped them into the ground.

My husband — then my boyfriend — and I fled to a quiet island in Florida, home mostly to retirees. I reported independently on Rumble, without a political identity. The “inclusive” Democrats had exiled me. And plenty of Republicans revealed themselves as spineless accomplices to the lies.

If 2020 didn’t wake you up to evil, let 2025 be the year that finally does.

On my channel I interviewed fellow truth-seekers, many of whom had been censored into silence elsewhere. Then I noticed something: A number of those same people were scheduled to speak at an event about an hour from me.

So I applied for a press pass and was accepted. It was the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in downtown Tampa, July 2022.

I barely knew who Charlie Kirk was. That’s no disrespect. I had lived too long inside an ideological echo chamber. Back in college in California, I remember hearing about TPUSA and assuming it was a gun club that met for target practice. I had no idea.

My husband asked me, “Why are you going to this? You could interview these people over Zoom.” I told him I felt isolated and needed to see that I wasn’t alone. It was refreshing to witness what Charlie had built — to look around and see young people who shared my concerns about the world or at least were curious.

Thousands packed the convention center. I don’t know the exact number, but I know what I saw: a full hall of people. At the time, our online communities were censored and deleted almost daily. We had to meet in person. And there they were — young, unmasked, unafraid.

As press, I’ve always felt comfortable covering events. That comes naturally after years on the job. But this was different. I wasn’t sure I “fit in,” almost in the high-school sense. What I discovered was a community where I could question the lunacy of those times without being shunned.

The building itself was massive, the air conditioning blasting to fight the summer humidity. Lines stretched all day for the headliner: President Trump. I hadn’t seen him in person since his visit to South Dakota in 2018. At the time, I told friends and family that I thought he was a buffoon.

Back in Florida in 2022, the energy inside that building felt less like a political rally and more like a concert I might have danced at in my 20s — electric, charged, alive. The speakers, staff, and volunteers knew how to connect with young people without condescension.

I remember Karoline Leavitt’s debut as a congressional candidate. She was young, but her off-the-cuff remarks blew me away. At a time when the modern Democratic Party punished dissent and silenced questions, Charlie created a space where people felt at home. We had been locked down, socially distanced, and starved for connection. He gave it back.

At first, I assumed most of the crowd were lifelong conservatives — country-club Republicans with Ronald Reagan portraits on their bedroom walls. I was wrong. Again and again, I met people with stories just like mine: raised in progressive circles, until COVID shattered their illusions. Wash, rinse, repeat. The same pattern everywhere.

That’s what TPUSA became to me — speakers, roundtables, booths — but more than that, a community. I’ll never forget Charlie walking right past me as I fumbled with my phone tripod, too respectful to interrupt as he hurried to his next commitment.

Since then, I’ve interviewed and built relationships with members of his team. We even share mutual friends. Charlie’s pastor introduced my husband and me to his son-in-law, who later counseled and married us in 2023, quoting Corinthians as the Santa Ana winds carried our vows before family and friends.

I never spoke to Charlie. I still don’t know exactly where I “fit in” or if TPUSA defines that. What I do know is this: God called me to be a journalist — to report fearlessly and to love people with the grace He’s shown me. And now, I wish I had stopped to shake Charlie’s hand and thank him for giving the so-called silent majority a space to breathe.

Fast-forward to September 10, 2025. I was at a train station in Connecticut when my phone lit up with the horrible news. Charlie Kirk was gone. An assassin’s bullet had taken him. I closed my eyes and prayed. When I opened them, I saw his name and face glowing on the iPhone screens of strangers around me.

For me, the grief quickly gave way to something else — a reality check. A line had been crossed.

The satanists want us dead. Some radical leftists want us silenced. Maybe you think that sounds dramatic. But scroll through their posts. Read the bile. You’ll lose your appetite.

Over the last five years, I’ve paid a price for my changing beliefs. Maybe you can relate. I’ve been quietly dropped from parties without explanation. Longtime “friends” unfollowed me out of fear they’d lose opportunities if they stayed connected. People I knew in real life viciously targeted me online. Immediate family members met me with insults instead of hugs — one even blocked me altogether.

No stranger, no random keyboard warrior, ever treated me with as much hatred as those close to me. Not even close. I’ve received threats to my safety. And yet, Jesus — and the people He placed in my life — carried me through in ways I can hardly describe. Some relationships even deepened through mutual respect. But Charlie bore a cost none of us can fully imagine. He put his grassroots efforts on stage for the world to see. The consequences he accepted ultimately claimed his life.

I knew refusing the COVID shot, loving God, flying an American flag instead of a Pride or Ukraine flag, and voting on principles rather than celebrity endorsements would make some people dislike me. I expected a few would even hate me. I prayed others might come around. I was naïve.

Now I know some people don’t just hate us. They want us dead. And they no longer bother to hide it. Read that again: A nauseating number of people openly wish death on us. Scroll social media and you’ll see it — teachers, military members, nurses, even mental health workers. For me, it’s my own town’s pharmacist.

Unfortunately, assassinations and assassination attempts against presidents have marked American history. Deranged people have always sought to kill presidents. But Charlie Kirk wasn’t president. He wasn’t even old enough to run. He never held office.

He was 31 years old. He was a Christian. He was a conservative.

In 2025, that alone was enough for a death sentence — and for neighbors to mock and celebrate his murder online.

That’s the gut punch. Some knew this already, but I still carried a sliver of rose-colored hope until it was ripped away last week.

The satanists want us dead. Some radical leftists want us silenced. Maybe you think that sounds dramatic. But scroll through their posts. Read the bile. You’ll lose your appetite.

These people, consumed by rage and virtue-signaling darkness, write declarations of violence like a virus eating away at their souls. Not all will pull the trigger. But plenty of the people you pass at the pharmacy, the school drop-off, or the grocery store openly posted that killing us would be a service to the world. One less Trump supporter. One less Bible-thumper. One more enemy erased.

That’s what mass Trump derangement syndrome looks like. That’s what a godless society produces.

Now you understand why Charlie’s murder hit you harder than you can explain. If 2020 didn’t wake you up to evil, let 2025 be the year that finally does.

And if you’re one of the people who think fellow Americans deserve to be brutally murdered — whether you boasted about it online or just let it rot inside you — seek help. Immediately. Humbly. Turn it over to God. He can heal you.

May God save us from the depravity we’ve unleashed. May He bless Charlie Kirk’s grieving family. And may we take up the charge together. Charlie’s voice has been silenced. It’s up to us to be his angels.

Several teams of the National Football League honored the memory of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk before their games in the second week of the season, but some did not.

The White House commended the teams that paid tribute to Kirk in a statement on Monday.

‘We commend these organizations for honoring a figure who championed the values that unite us all, and we join the nation in celebrating his legacy.’

“From coast to coast, sports teams and organizations paused this week to commemorate the legacy of Charlie Kirk,” the statement reads. “The White House recognizes these profound tributes that celebrate Kirk’s enduring legacy as a champion for faith and patriotism and honor the remarkable impact he had on millions of Americans.”

The NFL had said previously in a statement that they decided to have the tribute for Kirk ahead of the Thursday Night Football game between the Green Bay Packers and the Washington Commanders. However, for the rest of the games on Sunday, each team hosting an opponent was to decide for itself whether to offer a moment of silence.

In addition to the Packers, the White House said that the following teams had either moments of silence or other tributes for Kirk: New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans, and Arizona Cardinals.

Among those who did not have a tribute for Kirk were five teams:

Baltimore RavensCincinnati Bengals Indianapolis Colts Minnesota Vikings Detroit Lions

Other sports teams offered Kirk tributes, including the New York Yankees.

Some on the left were outraged over the tributes and expressed their opposition on social media.

The Houston Texans hosted a game on Monday Night Football and included a tribute to all victims of violence.

“These tributes reflect the widespread admiration for Kirk’s dedication to inspiring the next generation of American Patriots,” continues the statement from the White House. “We commend these organizations for honoring a figure who championed the values that unite us all, and we join the nation in celebrating his legacy.”

Blaze News requested a comment from each of the five teams without a tribute, but none responded immediately.

The unprovoked murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska and the horrific attack on Annunciation Catholic School that killed two children were still bleeding wounds when the news of Charlie Kirk’s death hit like a tidal wave. The martyring of our fellow conservative warrior and brother in Christ was like acid poured into those gashes.

We’re not just grieving — we’re angry and salivating for justice.

But as we move toward worldly justice, like sentences for the criminals and policy reforms, we need to keep one thing in mind.

“You cannot address spiritual issues and solve spiritual problems with secular, worldly solutions,” says Rick Burgess, BlazeTV host of “Strange Encounters.”

The gruesome attacks on innocent people that have dominated the news of late are at their core spiritual issues, which means they must be fought with spiritual weapons.

That doesn’t mean that worldly justice isn’t important; it just means that the harshest of consequences for the alleged murderers, enhanced security at political events, and regulations for online extremism won’t do a thing to counter the demonic forces at the root of these heinous attacks.

But what does it look like for Christians to fight back spiritually against the spreading evil in our nation?

First, it demands we understand the difference between demonic possession and mental illness.

“The brain is part of our body. Just like you would have problems with your heart, your kidneys, sometimes our brain is sick. Sometimes it has issues. We see this in Alzheimer’s and dementia,” Rick says.

But people our culture euphemistically dubs “mentally ill” who are clearly out to “kill, steal, and destroy” are in a category of their own. Their brains aren’t sick; their spirits are sick with demonic possession.

Dacarlos Brown Jr., who’s been officially charged with murdering Iryna Zarutska, “is possessed of a demon,” Rick says, “and we can put him in jail as many times as we want to. … But until the demonic possession of this man is addressed in the holy name of Jesus, he is always going to be dangerous.”

Tyler Robinson, Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin, as well as Robin (formerly Robert) Westman, the transgender-identifying biological male who shot and killed the two children at Annunciation Catholic School, are in the same category as Brown, Rick says. They’re dealing not primarily with mental illness and political radicalization but with demons.

Like vultures to a rotting carcass, demons will go where sin flourishes, and we have fostered a culture of death in this country, Rick explains. Whether it’s violent video games, abortion, or the transgender movement that butchers healthy bodies and inverts God’s design, we have forgotten “how valuable human life is.”

These atrocities that society has whitewashed or even called good are equivalent to “handing out an invitation for demons to come into our lives,” he says. The horrific violence that took Charlie Kirk, Iryna Zarutska, and the Catholic children’s lives is evidence of this.

“Until we stop the things that keep giving them an invitation, the darkness will only grow,” Rick warns.

This truth is something “we’ve got to apply to today’s headlines.”

But secular society that’s heavily driving our culture of death isn’t just going to wake up suddenly and reverse course. Christians must be willing to wade into the darkness with the truth of the gospel.

“Those of us that are redeemed, we’re going to have to stop being so apathetic. The only hope for this society is the church — the salt and the light,” Rick says, “but sitting around doing our programs and turning the church into a spiritual social club, that’s not going to battle.”

“We’re going to have to get back to where we take the holiness of God serious. We’re going to have to get back to where we take Jesus Christ’s commandment to go and teach the world all that He’s commanded — to go be disciples and make disciples — [serious].”

“Until the church starts bringing the salt and light into the darkness, nothing’s going to change.”

What happened to Charlie Kirk is not only devastating, but it’s left conservatives across the country grappling with a terrifying message.

“Everybody got their wakeup call that we could all be greenlit, that the left has established a precedent, a normalization, of, ‘Hey, if someone disagrees with you, if you don’t get your way, run out into the streets and be violent. Assassinate the people that disagree with you,’” BlazeTV host Jason Whitlock says on “Fearless.”

And the Democrats who are cheering the death as if it’s a touchdown at an NFL game are “demons.”

“You can stand shoulder to shoulder with them if you want to, with the demons, with the transgender crowd, with the gay crowd, with the abortion crowd. Stand shoulder to shoulder with them and say, ‘Well, I know I may be standing shoulder to shoulder with them, and I know the Bible says, ‘Come out from among them, but I can’t because the Democrat Party offers something for me,’” Whitlock says.

“‘I’m gay, and they’re normalizing my sin. I’m transgender, and they’re normalizing my insanity. I’m black, and they’re making it easier for me to get jobs that I’m not qualified for. I’m black, and they gave me a black woman Supreme Court Justice,’” he continues.

“You justify it however you want, but you’re standing shoulder to shoulder with people that are insane and willing to kill and willing to laugh off the assassination of a Christian father and husband,” he adds.

And unfortunately, this means that the left doesn’t hold themselves even close to the same morals that the right does.

“They’re not like us. This whole both-sidesing of issues is a joke. It’s a fallacy. You will not find evangelical people doing this,” he says, adding, “We’re not out hunting and trying to murder and assassinate people we disagree with.”

The suspect in the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk allegedly confessed to the crime on an online messaging system, according to the Washington Post.

Tyler Robinson, 22, allegedly posted the message to acquaintances on Discord, according to the report. He was persuaded by family members to turn himself in after they realized he fit the images released to the public of the suspected shooter.

‘Im sorry for all of this. im surrendering through a sheriff friend in a few moments.’

“Hey guys, I have bad news for you all. It was me at UVU yesterday. im sorry for all of this. im surrendering through a sheriff friend in a few moments. thanks for all the good times and laughs,” the message allegedly read.

About two hours after the alleged message was sent, Robinson turned himself in to law enforcement authorities in Utah.

Earlier on Monday, Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel said that Robinson had texted another individual to say that he had an opportunity to attack Charlie Kirk and that he was going to do so. Patel said that the suspect indicated that his motivation for the shooting was that he hated what Kirk stood for.

Robinson also had a romantic relationship with a person who identified as transgender and lived with him in an apartment in St. George, according to a Fox News Digital report. That person is cooperating with the FBI and has reportedly said he didn’t know anything about Robinson’s alleged plan to attack Kirk.

In an email to Blaze News, the FBI National Press Office declined to comment.

Confusion and conspiracy theories abounded in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk last Wednesday. While people attempted to sift through the information they glimpsed in the fog of the aftermath, several prominent AI chatbots may have hindered more than they helped in the pursuit of truth.

A CBS News report revealed several serious issues with multiple chatbots’ handling of the facts in the aftermath of Kirk’s death and the ensuing manhunt for the alleged shooter.

‘It’s not based on fact-checking. It’s not based on any kind of reportage on the scene.’

The report highlighted several factual inaccuracies stemming from xAI’s Grok, search engine Perplexity’s AI, and Google’s AI overview in the hours and days after the tragedy.

One of the most important instances came when an X account with 2.3 million followers shared an AI-enhanced photo turned video of the suspect. The AI enhancement smoothed the suspect’s features and distorted his clothing considerably. Although the post was flagged by a community note warning that this was not a reliable way to identify a suspect, the post was shared thousands of times and was even reposted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Utah before it issued a correction.

Other false reports from Grok include labeling the FBI’s reward offer a “hoax” and, according to CBS News, statements that reports concerning Charlie Kirk’s condition “remained conflicting” even after the official report of his death was released.

S. Shyam Sundar, a professor at Penn State University and the director of the university’s Center for Socially Responsible Artificial Intelligence, told CBS News that AI chatbots produce responses based on probability, which may often lead to inaccurate information in unfolding events.

“They look at what is the most likely next word or next passage,” Sundar said. “It’s not based on fact-checking. It’s not based on any kind of reportage on the scene. It’s more based on the likelihood of this event occurring, and if there’s enough out there that might question his death, it might pick up on some of that.”

Artificial intelligence’s sycophantic tendencies may also be to blame, as the third episode of “South Park’s” latest season recently highlighted.

Grok, for example, gave a highly flawed response on Friday morning to one user indicating that Tyler Robinson, 22, was opposed to MAGA while his father was a supporter of the movement. In a follow-up question, the user suggested that Robinson’s “social media posts” indicated that he may be a MAGA supporter, and Grok quickly changed its tune in its response: “Reports indicate Tyler Robinson is a registered Republican who donated to Trump in 2024. Social media photos show him in a Trump costume for Halloween, and his family appears to support MAGA.”

A Grok post timestamped roughly an hour later on Friday denied that he had any known political affiliation, thus showing a discrepancy in responses between users of the same chatbot.

The other AIs fared no better. Perplexity appears to have labeled reports about Kirk’s death a “hypothetical scenario” several hours after he was confirmed deceased. According to CBS News, “Google’s AI Overview for a search late Thursday evening for Hunter Kozak, the last person to ask Kirk a question before he was killed, incorrectly identified him as the person of interest the FBI was looking for.”

While artificial intelligence may be useful for aggregating resources for research, people are realizing that these chatbots are highly flawed when it comes to real-time reporting and separating the wheat from the chaff.

X did not respond to Return’s request for comment.

In the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination last week, leftists far and wide who didn’t like the words or politics of the TPUSA founder let loose on social media and celebrated Kirk’s horrific death from a gunshot at an outdoor student event at Utah Valley University.

One of those anti-Kirk voices is a Clemson University employee — and the South Carolina public college suspended that unnamed worker Saturday.

‘After being notified on Friday to stay out of the classroom, two faculty members now have been removed from their teaching duties pending investigation for termination.’

“Clemson University continues to thoroughly review the inappropriate social media content posted by employees in response to the tragic murder of Charlie Kirk,” the school said in its Saturday statement. “As stated previously, the University will take decisive and appropriate action in cases where speech is not protected under the U.S. Constitution and the First Amendment.”

The Post and Courier said assistant music professor Melvin Earl Villaver Jr. allegedly posted remarks about Kirk’s death. The paper noted in a separate story that one screenshot appearing to reference Kirk states, “Today was one of the most beautiful days ever.”

U.S. Rep. Russell Fry (R-S.C.) was livid over the alleged posts and called out Villaver: “Celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death is sick. What kind of depraved person thinks this is acceptable? Our tax dollars should not pay him another damn dime. I call on Clemson to fire him immediately!”

Screenshots included with Fry’s takedown showed comments and retweets allegedly from Villaver saying:

“Racism and White Supremacy age you.””Twitter after death.””Can’t speak in public no more. Think about the ramifications.”

Well, Clemson on Monday afternoon announced that “following an immediate and deliberate investigation into inappropriate social media content, Clemson today terminated an employee due to their social media posts.” The school’s statement did not name the employee or say what the posts were about.

The Post and Courier said Villaver could not be reached for comment; the X account @MelvinEarlMusic — from which the paper said his alleged remarks and reposts were cited — now “doesn’t exist.”

But WHNS-TV reported that Clemson called a special Board of Trustees meeting scheduled for Monday afternoon after facing backlash over comments believed to be made by some employees and professors about Kirk’s death.

The paper, citing a university spokesperson, reported that the remarks attributed to Villaver were not the only ones to draw criticism.

Indeed, the school’s Monday statement on X added the following: “After being notified on Friday to stay out of the classroom, two faculty members now have been removed from their teaching duties pending investigation for termination.”

Prior to the firing announcement, U.S. Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) wrote the following X post: “Your First Amendment rights do not include a right to a job! Clemson’s professors were completely inappropriate. The vile and disgusting celebration of a murder must compel the university to take clear and immediate action.”

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) also called on Clemson to commence firings: “Free speech doesn’t prevent you from being fired if you’re stupid and have poor judgement. The despicable, inappropriate and classless statements about a tragic event should not diminish a great university like @ClemsonUniv. However, in my opinion, those who made these despicable, inappropriate and classless statements should be good candidates for termination by this public university.”

As readers of Blaze News are no doubt aware, the number of reports about people from all walks of life spouting off inappropriate comments about Charlie Kirk’s assassination seem to be piling up at an astronomical rate.

What’s more, it doesn’t seem to be ending well for many of them:

The U.S. Secret Service put an agent on leave and revoked his security clearance after he ripped Kirk following his assassination, CBS News reported, adding that Anthony Pough wrote in a Facebook post Wednesday that Kirk “spewed hate and racism on his show … at the end of the day, you answer to GOD, and speak things into existence. You can only circumvent karma, she doesn’t leave.”American Airlines pilots who celebrated Kirk’s assassination were grounded and removed from duty, Fox News reported, citing U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, who posted on X that “this behavior is disgusting and they should be fired. Any company responsible for the safety of the traveling public cannot tolerate that behavior. We heal as a country when we send the message that glorifying political violence is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!”A Virginia public school teacher was placed on administrative leave following an anti-Kirk post on Facebook that allegedly read, “I hope he suffered through all of it,” WAVY-TV reported.

President Donald Trump criticized New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) and floated potential consequences for her endorsement of Zohran Mamdani in the New York City mayoral race.

Hochul held off on an endorsement for several months, previously expressing skepticism about Mamdani. “You have a lot of healing to do with the Jewish community. Many of your words have been hurtful and hateful to people in their interpretation,” Hochul told Mamdani in July.

On Sunday, the New York Times published an opinion column from Hochul where she announced her support for the Democratic socialist. The governor explained that the two had been in communication over the past few months to discuss their priorities. Hochul noted that while she and Mamdani “had our disagreements,” they were aligned on their commitment to ensure New York City is safe and affordable.

‘They deserve each other.’

“I also shared with him my priorities, making it very clear that our police officers should have every resource to keep our streets and subways safe. I urged him to ensure that there is strong leadership at the helm of the NYPD — and he agreed,” Hochul wrote. “We discussed the need to combat the rise of anti-Semitism urgently and unequivocally.”

“And in light of the abhorrent and destructive policies coming out of Washington every day, I needed to know the next mayor will not be someone who would surrender one inch to President Trump,” Hochul added.

She labeled anyone who “accepts [Trump’s] tainted influence or benefits from it” as “compromised from the start.”

“Governor Hochul has made affordability the centerpiece of her work. I look forward to fighting alongside her to continue her track record of putting money back in New Yorkers’ pockets and building a safer and stronger New York City where no one is forced to leave just so they can afford to raise a family,” Mamdani said.

“I’m grateful to the Governor for her support in unifying our party — as well as the work she’s done standing up to President Trump, securing free lunch meals for our kids, and expanding access to childcare.”

Trump responded to Hochul’s endorsement of Mamdani in a post on Truth Social.

“Governor Kathy Hochul of New York has Endorsed the ‘Liddle’ Communist,’ Zohran Mamdani, running for Mayor of New York. This is a rather shocking development, and a very bad one for New York City. How can such a thing happen?” Trump wrote.

“Washington will be watching this situation very closely. No reason to be sending good money after bad!” he stated.

Mamdani’s challengers include current Mayor Eric Adams, who is running as an independent; former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D); and Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa.

“The worst governor in America just endorsed the worst candidate for mayor. They deserve each other. New Yorkers see through the backroom politics and know Curtis Sliwa is fighting for them, not the insiders,” stated Daniel Kurzyna, a spokesperson for Sliwa’s campaign.

“Curtis will be mayor this year, [Rep.] Elise Stefanik will be governor next year, and the nonsense will finally end,” Kurzyna added.

Stefanik stated that it was “only a matter of time before the Worst Governor in America Kathy Hochul would bend the knee to the Communist Antisemite Zohran Mamdani.”

Republican Vice President JD Vance guest-hosted “The Charlie Kirk Show” in honor of his slain friend, and he used the platform to ask supporters to call out those who celebrated Kirk’s assassination.

Vance offered a somber remembrance for Kirk and vowed that Kirk’s friends and supporters would continue the effort to carry on his legacy after his assassination.

‘We owe it to our friend to ensure that his killer is not just prosecuted but punished. And the worst punishment is not the death penalty, but the knowledge that Charlie’s mission continues after he’s gone.’

“When you see someone celebrating Charlie‘s murder, call them out. Hell, call their employer!” Vance said.

“We don’t believe in political violence, but we do believe in civility. And there is no civility in the celebration of political assassination,” he added.

“Get involved! Get involved! Get involved!” the vice president said emphatically. “It’s the best way to honor Charlie‘s legacy. Start a chapter of [Turning Point] USA or get involved in the one that already exists! If you’re older, volunteer for your local party, write an op-ed in your local paper, run for office.”

Vance suggested that Americans could expect more political violence in the future.

“I can’t promise you this is gonna be easy. I can’t promise you that all of us will avoid Charlie’s fate. I can’t promise you that I will avoid Charlie’s fate,” he said ominously. “But the best way to honor him is to shine the light of truth like a torch in the very darkest places. Go do it!”

“We owe it to our friend to ensure that his killer is not just prosecuted but punished,” Vance added. “And the worst punishment is not the death penalty, but the knowledge that Charlie’s mission continues after he’s gone.”

Vance went on to quote St. Paul’s letter to the Ephesians from the Bible.

“Let all of us put on that armor and commit ourselves to that cause for which Charlie gave his life,” he concluded, “to rebuild a United States of America and to do it by telling the truth.”

The suspect in Kirk’s murder has been identified as Tyler Robinson, and recent reports said that he was in a romantic relationship with a male who was transitioning into a female. Some suspect the LGBTQ agenda might have been the motivation for the assassination.

The Democratic governor of Pennsylvania is facing fierce online criticism for misleading people about the political violence his own family faced.

Gov. Josh Shapiro posted a statement opposing comments from President Donald Trump about leftist violence in the wake of the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Shapiro cited the recent firebombing that severely damaged his official residence.

‘Democrats are truly in a very bad place. Nobody can save them but themselves.’

“No one party is immune from political violence. My family and I can attest to that. Using the rhetoric of rage and calling some of our fellow Americans ‘scum’ — no matter how profound our differences — only creates more division and makes it harder to heal,” Shapiro posted on Sunday.

“We are at an inflection point in America. Violence transcends party lines — and the way to address it and have true peaceful debate is for leaders to speak and act with moral clarity,” he added. “That needs to start with the President.”

In response, many online pointed out that even the violence against Shapiro’s family home was allegedly committed by a leftist.

“I’m very sorry about what you went through governor. I’m very sorry about what your family and children went through. But the person who set your house on fire and tried to burn you is from your own tribe. He’s a left wing nut job,” reads one popular response with more than 10K likes.

Shapiro’s official residence was firebombed in April on Passover, and police arrested a car mechanic from the Harrisburg area for the crime. Cody Allen Balmer, 38, allegedly lit the governor’s mansion on fire with two Molotov cocktails to protest Shapiro’s support for Israel.

Shapiro’s statement artfully dodged the fact that, according to police, his family had been targeted by a staunch supporter of Palestine.

His critics on social media were not letting him get away with it.

“It’s disappointing that Shapiro, who himself was targeted by left wing extremists when they burned down his home, can’t clearly say that threat is real,” Pradheep Shanker of National Review responded. “Democrats are truly in a very bad place. Nobody can save them but themselves.”

“Josh Shapiro’s house got burned down by a pro-Palestine leftist activist, and I don’t think a single conservative condoned or celebrated it — unlike the millions who celebrated Charlie Kirk’s death. Yeah, the Right has its occasional loons, but there’s no equivalence,” pastor Nathan Chester replied.

“Your house was burned down by a dirtbag leftist who was also scum. But you’ll defend the scum because your party is so terrified of the monster they created,” another detractor wrote.

Shapiro is seen as one of the possible candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028. Blaze News has reached out to his office for comment.

Chicago radio personality Michael Baisden went on record to voice his displeasure with NFL tributes to Charlie Kirk over the weekend.

Kirk, a 31-year-old political commentator, was murdered at a university event in Utah on Sept. 10, leaving his wife, Erika, and two children behind.

The majority of home NFL teams honored Kirk with a moment of silence on Sunday, with the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts, and Minnesota Vikings being the only teams that did not, according to the New York Post. Apparently, this was not enough for Baisden.

‘Seeing it play out in real time is disgusting.’

Baisden’s career in media has garnered him a massive following, including nearly four million followers on Facebook and about 530,000 on Instagram. On both pages, Baisden shared the following message.

“How do you feel about NFL teams honoring Charlie Kirk? Talk about a slap in the face of black players!” he wrote, alongside an image from AT&T Stadium that honored Kirk.

Baisden received a lot of support on his Instagram page, with many commentators referring to disgraced NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who kneeled during the national anthem in 2017.

“I stopped watching football when kneeling was a reprimanded offense,” said one reader with a black-power fist as the display picture.

“No surprise there at all. The NFL support[s] racism and has for some time now,” a bakery account wrote.

Like most, though, actual football players did not see Kirk as a racially divisive figure, nor did they see his murder as a cause for celebration or criticism.

“You don’t have to agree with Charlie Kirk or his views, but taking someone’s life over differences is never justified,” said Joshua Hines-Allen, defensive end for the Jacksonville Jaguars. “The whole situation is tragic. Prayers and condolences to his family and loved ones,” he wrote on X.

Dallas’ own iconic former wide receiver Dez Bryant admitted on X that he was not familiar with Kirk when fans started asking him if posts he was making were in relation to the shooting. When one reader tried to say Bryant was supporting racism, Bryant rebuffed the claim and said, “Nobody deserves to die the way [that] man died.”

Bryant later added, “Seeing people who are excited about Charlie Kirk dying are f**ked up human beings. … Sending love to his family.”

Two-time Super Bowl winner and former Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith voiced a similar sentiment on X, saying, “Celebrating the death of someone you don’t share the same beliefs as is wild.”

“Seeing it play out in real time is disgusting,” the broadcaster wrote; Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson shared the post.

Three-time Super Bowl winner Julian Edelman, a former New England Patriots wide receiver, wrote on X that he is praying for the Kirk family.

“Violence like this is never acceptable,” Edelman added.

Even polarizing announcer and former Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III said he was disgusted by what he was seeing online.

“Celebrating his death makes you a despicable human,” Griffin wrote. Griffin also asked for prayers for Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska, the woman who was murdered on a train in Charlotte.

Baisden now hosts a podcast under his own name while operating a dating and travel website called Mingle City.

The site boasts that Baisden was credited by former President Barack Obama’s campaign with “being instrumental in his election and re-election,” while also claiming Baisden was “the first and loudest national voice to sound the alarm on the Trayvon Martin killing!”

The assassination of a prominent Minnesota state lawmaker and her husband in June was not carried out by a leftist, as some conservatives contend, but allegedly by a pastor who spent his adult life preaching about Christ.

In the wake of the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, some on social media point to the June 14 killing of Minnesota House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband as evidence of a conservative killing and maiming Democrats.

‘Those two days don’t represent how I have been living the last 40 Years as a Christian.’

The response from some conservatives on X has been to brand accused Minnesota assassin Vance Luther Boelter a Democrat or a leftist lunatic or to suggest he was not a Trump supporter.

The trouble with those arguments is that they are opposed by most of the evidence in the killings of Hortman and her husband, Mark Hortman, and the grievous wounding of state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette.

It has become commonplace to see blame-trading in high-profile crimes such as assassinations and assassination attempts. The left often engages in deliberate deception. Social media is filled with the lie that Kirk assassination suspect Tyler Robinson is a Republican, when ample evidence has emerged alleging that he is an indoctrinated leftist and a homosexual who was living with a man pretending to be a woman.

FBI Director Kash Patel on Monday said Robinson “claimed that he had an opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and he was going to do it because of his hatred for what Charlie stood for.”

Boelter faces 14 criminal counts

Boelter, 58, of Green Isle, Minn., has been indicted in state and federal courts on 14 criminal counts that include stalking, murder, attempted murder, use of firearms in furtherance of a felony, and felony cruelty to an animal for the shooting of the Hortmans’ dog, Gilbert.

Anecdotal evidence that emerged June 14 during the largest police manhunt in Minnesota history suggested that Boelter had ties to Democrats and the prominent Democrat “No Kings” protest movement.

But an examination of Boelter’s life found clear evidence that Boelter has lived by conservative values and that he allegedly targeted four lawmakers in the predawn hours of June 14 at least in part because they are Democrats.

What muddies the picture in the Minnesota case is that Boelter is an enigma. He has not been involved in state or local politics as a volunteer or donor. There is some evidence that he has voted in Republican elections and is a supporter of President Donald J. Trump.

Inconsistent reasoning

His alleged reasoning for the shooting rampage has been inconsistent, twisted, and bizarre. According to a handwritten letter he allegedly left in a getaway vehicle found in Belle Plaine, Minn., the suspect said Democrat Gov. Walz ordered him to kill Minnesota’s two Democrat United States senators so that Walz could run unencumbered for a seat in Congress.

While the FBI says Boelter kept a handwritten “hit list” of more than 60 Democrat officials and organizations, he apparently did not target U.S. Sens. Amy Klobuchar or Tina Smith on June 14. The targets on that day were the top state legislative Democrat and three other Democrat state lawmakers.

Boelter’s story has evolved since June 14. He first told Alpha News that the June 14 violence was meant to involve citizen’s arrests of Minnesota lawmakers for allegedly covering up 400 sudden deaths caused by COVID-19 shots. He claimed that neither his opposition to abortion nor his support for President Trump was his motivation.

Boelter told Blaze News in interviews from his jail cell in Elk River, Minn., that he never intended to shoot anyone. His actions on June 14 somehow went “horribly wrong.” It was the capstone of a two-year undercover investigation of vaccine deaths, he said, although he has yet to produce any evidence from this alleged investigation.

Boelter told Blaze News that while he is not yet able to share his full reasoning for the June 14 attacks and his time on the lam June 15, the violence of that day stood in stark contrast to the life he lived since childhood in Sleepy Eye, Minn.

“Those two days don’t represent how I have been living the last 40 Years as a Christian,” Boelter said in a text to Blaze News on Aug. 7.

Alleged evidence of Boelter being a liberal boils down to three facts. In the decommissioned police vehicle he allegedly used to visit the homes of lawmakers on June 14, police indicated he had a pile of fliers that read “No Kings,” a reference to nationwide anti-Trump rallies held the same day as the murders.

The “No Kings” fliers were disclosed by the Minnesota State Patrol, which released an image of the signs on X June 14. “The photo is of flyers inside the vehicle of the suspect in today’s shootings,” the State Patrol wrote. Minnesota State Patrol Col. Christina Bogojevic advised Minnesotans to stay away from the “No Kings” protests scheduled for that day as a result.

There was no reference to the “No Kings” fliers in any of Boelter’s federal charging documents or the FBI search warrant affidavit. The photo released by the Minnesota State Patrol was not included in any of the other Boelter court documents.

The widely circulated photo of the fliers on June 14 led many, including Charlie Kirk, to initially conclude that Boelter was from the political left.

Boelter was appointed by two successive Democrat Minnesota governors — Mark Dayton and Walz — to workforce development boards on which Boelter served from 2016 until 2023. These were volunteer positions. The boards issued advisory reports on issues affecting the Minnesota workforce.

Boelter served on a similar body in Dakota and Scott Counties, the Dakota-Scott Workforce Development Board. He began a term as board chairman in October 2021. The board “oversees employment programs within Dakota and Scott counties, including at CareerForce Centers in Burnsville, West St. Paul, and Shakopee,” according to a Dakota County news release. “The board’s 27 members represent the public and private sectors.”

Most of Boelter’s career was spent at companies that process and sell food items, including Gold ’n Plump chicken, Johnsonville Sausage, Gerber Products, Lettieri’s/Greencore, 7-Eleven, and Marathon Oil.

Boelter is by all accounts a devout Christian. Raised in a Lutheran family of six children in southern Minnesota, Boelter described a conversion experience he had while working a summer job at the Del Monte vegetable packing plant in Sleepy Eye, Minn.

He earned a practical theology certificate at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, a charismatic interdenominational Bible college. Boelter was involved in campus Christian groups while studying at St. Cloud State University. He served as a campus pastor in the mid-1990s at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minn.

After getting married in October 1997, Boelter and his wife formed a Christian-based nonprofit organization, Revoformation Ministries Inc. The organization appeared to be related to the New Apostolic Reformation, an evangelical Christian movement.

The New Apostolic Reformation includes the belief that “an age of revival began around 1900, during which essentials that the Church lost or suppressed long ago were gradually ‘revived’ or ‘restored,’” according to Father Thomas Buffer, a priest writing in the Catholic Times.

Boelter went on missionary trips to the Democratic Republic of the Congo sponsored by the Minnesota-based Global Impact Center. During those trips he gave several sermons that chastised Christian churches in America for their alleged lack of unity and failure to uphold traditional teachings on marriage and sexual morality.

An outgrowth of those mission trips was the establishment of the Red Lion Group, a company that sought to increase locally grown food for distribution throughout the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Boelter and his wife, Jenny, were partners in Red Lion Group with the Rev. Mcnay Nkashama and his wife, Nathalie, according to documents obtained by Blaze News. The Nkashamas are both native to the DRC and now live in Minnesota.

Evidence of Boelter’s political leanings is more difficult to find than evidence of his business dealings. His childhood friend, David Carlson, told reporters that Boelter is no liberal and has supported President Trump. Carlson said Boelter did not have an interest in state or local politics.

There are no records in the Federal Election Commission database or Minnesota Campaign Finance Board records that show Boelter ever donated to a political candidate, political party, or political action committee.
