Two sources familiar with the matter confirmed to Blaze News that TPUSA will appear for an event on the UVU campus on September 10. Kirk was murdered while speaking peacefully before a crowd of thousands on September 10, 2025.

The UVU Police Department has already begun coordinating with other law enforcement agencies to provide security for the event.

The event is scheduled to take place at the UCCU Center on campus.

The UVU Police Department has already begun coordinating with other law enforcement agencies to provide security for the event, a source confirmed to Blaze News. Whether TPUSA will be paying for the added security and/or providing private security as well is unclear.

UVU has established a “Memorial Committee” entrusted with finding “meaningful ways to help our campus and community heal from the Charlie Kirk tragedy.” A statue of Kirk seated, wearing a “Freedom” T-shirt, and holding a microphone has already arrived on campus.

The UVU campus will be closed on September 10 and all classes canceled “to provide time and space for reflection, service, and connection” about “the tragic events surrounding Charlie Kirk’s death,” said interim UVU President Wayne Vaught in an email obtained by Blaze News. The email also encourages students, faculty, and staff to participate in a “Corporate Day of Service” that day as well.
