In the latest twist of the WordPress world’s legal disputes, the court has granted WP Engine’s motion for a preliminary injunction against Automattic. In summary, the court found that WP Engine is likely to succeed on the merits of its claims, is likely to suffer irreparable harm without the injunction, the “balance of equities” favors WP Engine, and issuing the injunction is in the public interest.
