Climate doom propaganda: How the left celebrated Earth Day
Earth Day is one of the climate alarmists’ favorite days to shove their propaganda down Americans’ throats — but this year, the Washington Post was one of the few media outlets to put a positive spin on Earth’s impending doom.
“This Earth Day, there are some reasons to be hopeful about the climate,” reads the cheery headline.
“It’s not all doom: Innovators are reimagining how we power our lives, nature is pulling off surprising comebacks, cities are cleaning their air, and nations are opening their wallets,” the article explains.
“Obviously, spending money is the main way you can help the climate. It always is. If you ever want to help a climate organization, giving them cash is always the best thing you can do,” Stu Burguiere of “Stu Does America” comments.
However, there is some bad news.
“Donald Trump, right? Because you have the good news of the climate there, but you can’t just take it like that. You got to understand that Donald Trump is doing everything he can to ruin the environment for you,” Stu explains, before pulling up another article from the Guardian.
“Tariffs will raise prices, but the climate crisis is the real inflation risk,” this headline reads.
The article goes on to claim that the “Trump administration has recently declared a war on climate change research inside the federal government and the wider U.S. research community, as well as doubling down on carbon-based business models.”
“But wishing the problem away won’t make it disappear. The real drivers of future inflation are not just tariffs, but the climate crisis and states backing off their decarbonization efforts,” the article goes on.
“The state is so effective at everything that it does,” Stu mocks. “If they honestly try to decarbon or to add more carbon to the atmosphere, they probably would fail spectacularly and actually wind up getting rid of a bunch of it. So maybe they should just try reversing their goals.”

UK government to approve geoengineering experiments to block sunlight in effort to curb climate change despite alarming risks
The U.K. is expected to give approval for solar geoengineering experiments to block sunlight in an effort to curb climate change despite uncertainty and alarming risks, according to multiple reports.
The Telegraph reported that geoengineering experiments conducted outside aimed at combating climate change are set to be carried out by the Advanced Research and Invention Agency and will be announced in the coming weeks.
The experiments are said to be one of the most expensive solar geoengineering projects in history.
In February 2021, the U.K. government announced the creation of the Advanced Research and Invention Agency, a self-described “independent research body to fund high-risk, high-reward scientific research.” The agency will be led by “prominent, world-leading scientists who will be given the freedom to identify and fund transformational science and technology.”
The U.K. government said ARIA will “help to cement the U.K.’s position as a global science superpower, while shaping the country’s efforts to build back better through innovation.”
The U.K. government promised roughly $1 billion in funding for the “most inspiring inventors to turn their transformational ideas into new technologies, discoveries, products, and services — helping to maintain the U.K.’s position as a global science superpower.”
British tech news site UKTN previously reported, “It takes its inspiration from DARPA, the U.S. government research and development agency that has played a pivotal role in developing technologies such as GPS, drones, and weather satellites.”
ARIA officially launched in January 2023.
The experiments will include solar geoengineering, where particles are injected into the air to deflect some of the sun’s radiation back into space with the goal of reducing Earth’s surface temperature.
Professor Mark Symes, the program director for ARIA, said the looming threat of climate change was a strong reason to research the controversial solar geoengineering.
“One of the missing pieces in this debate was physical data from the real world,” Symes told the Telegraph. “Models can only tell us so much.“
Symes guaranteed, “Everything we do is going to be safe by design.”
“We have strong requirements around the length of time experiments can run for and their reversibility, and we won’t be funding the release of any toxic substances to the environment,” Symes stressed.
The research would include “small controlled outdoor experiments on particular approaches.”
Symes noted that the agency would be making it clear when any outdoor experiments might be taking place.
‘The risks are so immense.’
The Guardian reported that possible experiments could include blocking sunlight reaching the Earth’s surface by “launching clouds of reflective particles into the atmosphere or using seawater sprays to make clouds brighter.”
The New York Times reported in September 2024 that the experiments could include “injecting aerosols, such as sulfur dioxide, into the stratosphere or shooting sea-salt aerosols into low-lying marine clouds to reflect more sunlight away from the Earth.”
Dr. Sebastian Eastham, a senior lecturer in sustainable aviation at Imperial College London, told the Telegraph, “Every time you fly, sulphur, which is naturally present in jet fuel, is emitted into the lowermost stratosphere, causing a small cooling effect.”
“Similarly, aircraft contrails cause accidental cirrus cloud modification, but in this case accidentally causing, rather than preventing or thinning, cirrus clouds,” Eastham explained. “This points to the fact that it’s theoretically possible [to cool the planet] with current-day technology, but there are many practical questions that would need to be answered before they could be done at scale.”
The experiments are said to be one of the most expensive solar geoengineering projects in history.
According to the New York Times, ARIA will be awarded approximately $75 million for researchers to “examine ideas for artificially cooling the planet — including outdoor experiments to determine whether any of those ideas could actually work.”
As Blaze News reported in November 2024, billionaire Bill Gates is also delving into solar geoengineering in an attempt to block the sun.
However, solar geoengineering projects to alter the climate have been heavily scrutinized because of possible negative side effects and unintended consequences that could arise from real-world experiments.
A study released in December 2024 found that solar geoengineering experiments could cause more pollution and damage the ozone layer, which would cause an increase in mortality from skin cancers.
Columbia University’s Climate School noted in April 2024, “Studies show that stratospheric aerosol injection could weaken the stratospheric ozone layer, alter precipitation patterns, and affect agriculture, ecosystem services, marine life, and air quality. Moreover, the impacts and risks would vary by how and where it is deployed, the climate, ecosystems, and the population.”
In February 2023, the United Nations Environment Program released a report regarding the potential risks and impacts of solar radiation modification, including nefarious motives by a rogue state.
UNEP’s Chief Scientist Andrea Hinwood stated, “A range of concerns about SRM were raised in the report and included the scenario that if SRM were to be unilaterally deployed by a rogue state or non-state actor, like a private company, it could introduce a series of new complex geo-political or security threats.”
Lili Fuhr, from the Center for International Environmental Law, told CNN in 2023, “Just because we’re desperate doesn’t suddenly make solar geoengineering a good idea, because the risks are so immense.”
Last month, the Florida Senate passed a bill prohibiting geoengineering and weather modification activities.
Blaze Media recently conducted a deep dive into cloud seeding and weather manipulation, which you can read here.

Federal prosecutors ditch jobs in a huff, refuse to admit wrongdoing in ‘flawed’ Eric Adams case
Three federal prosecutors with the Southern District of New York resigned in protest on Tuesday. Celia Cohen, Andrew Rohrbach, and Derek Wikstrom quit after accusing the Trump administration’s Department of Justice of pressuring them to admit “wrongdoing” in the corruption case against New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D), who pleaded not guilty.
The three prosecutors had been placed on administrative leave after Trump’s DOJ requested the case’s dismissal.
‘Any suggestion to the contrary by anybody, especially former federal prosecutors, is wrong and disingenuous.’
According to an email obtained by the New York Times, the prosecutors claimed that DOJ Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that to be reinstated, they “must express regret and admit some wrongdoing by the office in connection with the refusal to move to dismiss the case.”
They wrote, “We will not confess wrongdoing when there was none.”
The prosecutors claimed that the DOJ under the Trump administration “has decided that obedience supersedes all else, requiring us to abdicate our legal and ethical obligations in favor of directions from Washington.”
“There is no greater privilege than to work for an institution whose mandate is to do the right thing, the right way, for the right reasons,” the prosecutors continued. “We will not abandon this principle to keep our jobs.”
“We resign,” they declared.
Jay Clayton, President Donald Trump’s pick to lead the SDNY, took over the same day the prosecutors resigned.
Since Trump’s DOJ pushed for the dismissal of the case against Adams in February, five SDNY prosecutors have resigned, including the lead prosecutor assigned to the case.
U.S. District Judge Dale Ho dropped the case with prejudice on April 2.
“To be clear, the Court again emphasizes that it does not express any opinion as to the merits of the case or whether the prosecution of Mayor Adams ‘should’ move forward,” he wrote.
“The Court notes only that it has no authority to require that it continue,” Ho continued. “Ultimately, because the decision to discontinue a prosecution belongs primarily to a political branch of government, it is the public’s judgment, and not this Court’s, that truly matters.”
However, he claimed the DOJ’s request to dismiss the case “smacks of a bargain” between Adams and the Trump administration. Both parties have denied the allegations.
Blanche stated that there “was nothing ‘illegal’ or ‘unethical'” about the DOJ’s decision to drop the “flawed” case.
“Any suggestion to the contrary by anybody, especially former federal prosecutors, is wrong and disingenuous,” he contended.

Trump obliterates Biden’s COVID rules for good
The Trump administration has wasted no time completely revamping the COVID-19 narrative — and has now made it official on the White House website.
The website now has a COVID-19 section, which goes into great detail explaining “misinformation” related to the virus.
“Public health officials often mislead the American people through conflicting messaging, knee-jerk reactions, and a lack of transparency. Most egregiously, the federal government demonized alternative treatments and disfavored narratives, such as the lab leak theory, in a shameful effort to coerce and control the American people’s health decisions,” the website reads.
“When those efforts failed, the Biden Administration resorted to ‘outright censorship—coercing and colluding with the world’s largest social media companies to censor all COVID-19-related dissent,’” it continues.
The website also highlights that Anthony Fauci was given a full and unconditional pardon by former President Biden.
“It is so refreshing to see this White House,” Sara Gonzales of “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered” comments.
“I’m glad we all trusted the plan,” BlazeTV contributor John Doyle chimes in. “We were so angry when everyone started to realize what a sham this was, we were angry with Trump for promoting it, but I will say, I think that we get a little hindsight bias and forget how freaked out even Republicans, like older Republicans, were about COVID.”
“I would just say, their entire argument was ‘trust the experts.’ So if that’s their argument, then again, it’s Anthony Fauci’s fault, because Donald Trump was trusting the expert that they placed in front of him and said, ‘This is the guy,’” Gonzales says.
“So Donald Trump wasn’t in there in a lab with little droppers trying to figure things out; he was trusting the people that he was supposed to be able to trust,” she adds.

Trump administration open to $5,000 baby bonus for new mothers: ‘Sounds like a good idea’
President Donald Trump said it seemed like good policy to hand out money to new mothers as an incentive to increase U.S. birth rates.
Trump endorsed the idea at the White House on Tuesday when he told the New York Post he liked the idea of a cash incentive to get more Americans to have children.
“Sounds like a good idea to me,” the president reportedly said.
The sum of $5,000 would be given to new mothers, with 30% of Fulbright educational grants given to applicants who are married or have children.
Another proposed program, according to the Post, would involve education surrounding menstrual cycles and ovulation so women can better determine the best time for them to conceive.
Pundits have often pointed to Hungary’s reward system as a way to increase birthrates; the European country touts tax deductions and credits for each child a family has.
According to a government website, a family’s first child allows for a credit equivalent to around $185 USD, while a second child earns a credit of around $370, and a third child credit is worth $610. Tax deductions are also provided per child.
At the same time, mothers with four children or more are exempt from income tax.
‘A $5,000 baby bonus is wasteful and won’t make a dent, especially among middle to upper class families.’
However, Hungary’s birth rates have not seen a huge resurgence despite the country expanding its offers for new families. Hungary offered no-interest loans of around $33,000 to its citizens, which would be forgiven if the family has three children.
As of 2022, Hungary’s live births per 1,000 people was just 9.3, according to Macrotrends, falling short of the United States’ rate of 11 per 1,000.
U.S. birth rates first dropped drastically in the 1970s before increasing until 1990, when the rate was 16.7 per 1,000 people.
Commentator Maggie Anders, who has spoken extensively on the topic, reacted to the story about $5,000 for new mothers and cited statistics that showed the national average cost of raising a child annually is $23,000. This totaled $414,000 from birth to 18 years old, rendering $5,000 negligible in that journey, she claimed.
“A $5,000 baby bonus is wasteful and won’t make a dent, especially among middle to upper class families,” she wrote on X. “Obviously, the cost of raising a child depends on a number of factors, but it does not negate the point that housing, daycare, food costs are all very expensive. $5,000 doesn’t begin to cover it,” the commentator continued. “A ‘that’d be nice’ isn’t good policy. It’s wealth redistribution with unclear goals.”
Comedian Mark Normand also reacted to the news story on X, and in a since-deleted remark commented, “Elon Musk just became a trillionaire!”

Legendary coach calls out NBA for booking games on ‘sacred days’ like Christmas and Easter
One of the all-time greatest NBA coaches spoke out against the NBA for scheduling games on both Christmas and Easter, calling them sacred days.
On Christmas Day 2024, the NBA had five games scheduled, while Good Friday and Easter Monday each featured two games.
This apparently did not sit well with former coach Phil Jackson, the man who coached Michael Jordan to six championships with the Chicago Bulls.
“Again the NBA tests faith by playing multiple games on Christmas and Easter…sacred days,” Jackson wrote on X.
Shockingly, this was just the second time that Jackson had used his social media page in almost seven years, and it was to complain about the NBA’s schedule.
Jackson has spoken vaguely about his faith on his timeline in the past, but way back in 2013 and only in reference to movies.
It should be noted, however, that the NBA playing games on Christmas is not at all new, as the league began playing games on Christmas Day in 1947, its second season. At the same time, the NBA has reportedly had a five-game schedule for Christmas since 2008. All of this came within Jackson’s tenure too; he retired in 2016.
Still, the man of faith clearly has his principles. He is one of the few coaches to take a non-woke approach to the NBA’s campaigns and even spoke out in 2023 to say he had not watched the league in years.
“They had things on their back like, ‘Justice.’ They made a funny thing like, ‘Justice just went to the basket and Equal Opportunity just knocked him down.’ … So my grandkids thought that was pretty funny to play up those names. So I couldn’t watch that,” Jackson said at the time.
The legendary bench boss did not approve of the political slogans written on NBA courts, either, and said the move was “trying to cater to an audience or trying to bring a certain audience into play.”
Explaining that people want to see sports as “non-political,” Jackson mocked the league for its COVID-19 bubble in Orlando, Florida.
“They did something that was kind of wanky; they did a bubble down in Orlando and all the teams that could qualify went down there and stayed down there.”
With 11 total championships, Jackson will forever be known as one of the best coaches to walk on a court, with the ability to harness even the biggest personalities. He handled Dennis Rodman, Scottie Pippen, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, and of course Michael Jordan.

‘The Office’ star shoots down MSNBC host over media bias on the economy and immigration under Biden
Rainn Wilson of “The Office” shut down an MSNBC host decrying attacks on the mainstream media from the Trump administration and pushed back with the most damaging recent example of media bias.
Wilson was speaking with Stephanie Ruhle on his “Soul Boom” podcast when she went into a rant about criticism from President Donald Trump and tech billionaire Elon Musk.
‘Look, the economy is great, la la la, immigration’s not that much of a problem.’
Wilson pointed out to Ruhle that 40% of Americans polled said that they don’t trust media and asked her to explain why they feel this way.
“Listen, we are seeing a huge loss of trust in all of our institutions,” she replied.
“Losing that trust is not an accident. It’s by design,” Ruhle continued. “You had a bit of a perfect storm, right? President Trump won, and tons of people were shocked or angry or frustrated, and they’re tuning out. And at the same time, you have the Elon Musk media machine, because they want you to leave traditional media, and they want you to go to X, which is a bastion of misinformation. There is no fact-checking.”
“Right,” Wilson said.
“So it’s a perfect storm of people saying, ‘I’m angry. I’m frustrated. I’m tuning out, disconnecting,’ and then you have a force pushing it,” she continued. “But even in the last two weeks, what we need to do is just cover what is happening in America.”
Wilson responded by explaining that a lot of trust had been lost over the media’s bias during the Biden administration.
“This is where I would push back, when I see this kind of insight and passion being directed at the current administration and the lack of this kind of insight and passion being directed at the previous administration,” he said.
“Here again, I’m not talking about you. I’m talking about left-leaning news media organizations were kind of like, ‘La la la la, everything’s fine,'” Wilson said, mocking the media. “‘Look, the economy is great, la la la, immigration’s not that much of a problem,’ and really being Cleopatra, ‘queen of denial.’ Thank you. Boom!”
Wilson’s criticism mirrored the attitudes of Americans in polling that showed the immigration crisis and the state of the economy were top worries going into the contentious 2024 election.
Video of the interaction was posted to social media, where it was widely circulated.

Top Democratic senator announces retirement after 44 years in Congress
Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois, who serves as the Democratic whip, announced Wednesday that he will not seek re-election in 2026.
The 80-year-old senator was first elected to the Senate in 1996 after serving in the House since 1982. After 44 years in Congress, Durbin announced on his social media that it was “time to pass the torch.”
‘Even Chuck Schumer’s sidekick is joining the long list of retiring Senate Democrats who don’t want to be affiliated with MS-13 sympathizers and apologists or so-called men who invade women’s spaces.’
“The decision of whether to run for re-election has not been easy,” Durbin said. “I truly love the job of being a United States Senator. But in my heart, I know it’s time to pass the torch. So, I am announcing today that I will not be seeking re-election at the end of my term.”
“I have given more than half of my life to House and Senate congressional service, and I’ve always tried to stand up to power on behalf of the people of Illinois and our country,” Durbin added. “I am proud of what I have achieved and hope my record will speak for itself.”
Durbin’s imminent departure was welcomed by Republicans, who have long opposed his political track record. Nick Puglia, the regional press secretary for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, points out that Durbin is just the latest Democrat to retire as the party becomes increasingly radical.
“Even Chuck Schumer’s sidekick is joining the long list of retiring Senate Democrats who don’t want to be affiliated with MS-13 sympathizers and apologists or so-called men who invade women’s spaces,” Puglia told Blaze News.

Elon Musk says his DOGE time ‘will drop significantly’ to shift focus to Tesla amid radical left’s attacks
Elon Musk announced Tuesday that he plans to “significantly” reduce the amount of time he is spending on his role with the federal government.
Musk has dedicated the last three months to coordinating with President Donald Trump’s administration to find and eliminate government waste alongside the Department of Government Efficiency.
‘I think a great wrong is being done to the people of Tesla and to our customers.’
During a Tesla earnings call, Musk stated, “Starting next month, I will be allocating far more of my time to Tesla.”
He explained that “the major work of establishing” the DOGE had already been completed.
Musk noted that beginning in May, he plans to spend only one to two days per week assisting the Trump administration. He said he will continue to do so “as long as it is useful.”
Rumors started swirling earlier this month that Musk would soon take a step back. On April 1, Trump indicated that he aimed to have Musk assist the administration for “as long as possible” but noted that at some point, he would have to shift his focus back to his companies.
“We’re in no rush, but there will be a point in time in which Elon’s going to have to leave,” the president said. “There will be a point at which the secretaries will be able to do this work.”
Musk’s involvement with the administration was never intended to be a permanent role. As a “special government employee,” he is limited to working 130 days per year.
“I think we will have accomplished most of the work required to reduce the deficit by a trillion dollars within that time frame,” Musk previously stated.
According to Trump’s executive order establishing DOGE, the department will run through July 4, 2026.
The DOGE has reportedly already saved American taxpayers $160 billion.
Business Insider reported that Tesla’s stock has been down 44% this year but increased 5% after the earnings call. Tesla’s first-quarter sales were well under the company’s expectations.
Since Musk began working with the Trump administration, Tesla has become the target of vandalism attacks from left-wing radicals.
In March, Musk told Fox News, “I think a great wrong is being done to the people of Tesla and to our customers.”
“Tesla’s a peaceful company that has made great cars, great products,” he continued. “And yet people are committing violence. People are firebombing Tesla dealerships. They’re shooting guns into stores.”
Musk stated that the vandals are “being fed propaganda by the far left.”

Klaus Schwab’s sudden departure was on bad terms, coinciding with shocking misconduct allegations
Klaus Schwab announced on April 1 that he was stepping down as chairman of the World Economic Forum.
While the technocratic globalist organization indicated that its founder would complete his departure by January 2027, Schwab revealed Monday that he was stepping down immediately — and did so without providing a reason.
The Wall Street Journal revealed on Tuesday why Schwab left his post 20 months early.
Despite his protest, Schwab’s organization initiated an independent investigation Sunday into allegations that he engaged in financial and ethical misconduct.
The WEF’s board of trustees received an anonymous whistleblower letter last week detailing alleged “systemic governance failures and abuses of power that have taken place over many years under the unchecked authority of Klaus Schwab.”
According to the letter, which was attributed to unnamed current and former WEF employees, Schwab used forum funds to pay for private, in-room massages at hotels; asked junior employees to take thousands of dollars from ATMs out on his behalf; and allowed sexual harassment and other abuses to go unchecked in the workplace.
If the third of these complaints sounds familiar, that’s because it has been lodged against the forum multiple times before.
The Journal indicated in a damning June 2024 report that “under Schwab’s decades-long oversight, the forum has allowed to fester an atmosphere hostile to women and black people in its own workplace.”
The report — deemed “inaccurate” by the forum but based on internal complaints, email exchanges, and interviews with current and past WEF employees — contained allegations that: pregnant workers and returning mothers were mistreated; senior managers sexually harassed female underlings; black employees faced racist commentary and were passed over for promotions; and Schwab “made suggestive comments to [former staffers] that made them uncomfortable.”
‘He never had a chance to give his side of the story.’
One employee even filed a lawsuit in New York last year claiming the WEF was “hostile to women and black employees,” and the WEF settled on undisclosed terms.
The letter sent to the board of trustees last week reportedly also had much to say about the globalist’s wife, Hilde Schwab.
Hilde Schwab, a former WEF employee, scheduled “token” WEF-funded meetings abroad so that she could go on luxurious forum-funded trips, said the letter. She also allegedly bogarted a forum-owned 1958 modernist luxury property next to the WEF’s Geneva headquarters, which the organization spent $30 million to buy and $20 million to renovate.
A spokesman for the couple claimed that the Schwabs live nearby and have used the modernist mansion only for forum events. As for the other allegations, the spokesman told the Journal that the couple denies them all and intends to sue the authors and “anybody who spreads these mistruths.”
The board indicated that its audit and risk committee’s Sunday decision to launch a probe into the allegations was unanimous and “made after consultation with external legal counsel.”
Schwab tried to impress upon board members that the allegations were bogus, and unsuccessfully sought an opportunity to address the board during its emergency meeting.
“He never had a chance to give his side of the story to the board or the audit committee,” said the globalist’s spokesman.
When he resigned on Monday, Schwab reportedly forfeited his pension, which was worth over $6 million.
The WEF told the Journal that it takes the new “allegations seriously, but they remain unproven, and will await the outcome of the investigation to comment further.”
This will be the second investigation launched into the WEF in recent months.
The organization previously tasked the American firm Covington and Burling and the Swiss firm Homburger with looking into claims of workplace discrimination and harassment.
The external lawyers concluded in a summary of their assessment that they “did not find the forum had committed any legal violations” and “did not substantiate” the misconduct allegations against Schwab.

Watch: Minnesota Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards fined for vulgar exchange with fans
Minnesota Timberwolves star guard Anthony Edwards found himself writing another check, or perhaps taking a pay cut once again, due to an interaction with fans on April 19.
The NBA announced Edwards was fined $50,000 for “inappropriate language” and “making an obscene gesture toward a fan” last Saturday.
With 4:33 remaining in the third quarter against the Los Angeles Lakers, Edwards spiced up Game 1 of the playoff series with a playful, yet inappropriate exchange with fans.
‘Where are your kids?!’
After arguing with the fans about how much money he makes, Edwards noted that teammate Rudy Gobert also has made upwards of $300 million during his NBA tenure, as a back-and-forth brag with the fans carried on.
As hecklers asked Edwards, “Where are your kids?!” and told him, “You suck,” the shooting guard decided to make penile comparisons as a last-ditch effort to convince fans of his worth.
“My d*** bigger than yours!” Edwards said, grabbing his crotch. “My d*** bigger than yours!” he repeated, which eventually sparked laughter from the hecklers. The short exchange can be watched here.
Edwards finished 2024 with a $100,000 fine for using swear words during a live interview following a tight win over the Houston Rockets, but the sum total of these two incidents is nowhere near the entirety of money the 23-year-old has had to fork over this season.
According to Spotrac, Edwards has been fined $272,000 for technical fouls et al. in the 2024-2025 season, and coupled with another near $250,000 suspension as a result of 16 technicals, he totals an approximate $514,393 in fines this season.
As for his money brags, while Edwards has earned just a measly $86 million so far in his career, he is in the first year of a new contract extension worth over $244 million.
For teammate Gobert, the Frenchman has already totaled more than that and will take home somewhere in the neighborhood of $375 million when his contract expires in 2028.
The NBA has seemingly lost control of some of its biggest stars this year and media members, former players, and fans have all taken notice.
Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant has taunted the league with banned actions and celebrations despite having received a 25-game suspension. When warned not to do any finger-gun celebrations, as he has been seen on camera with real guns, Morant immediately did it again, anyway.
Even perennial star LeBron James turned off NBA legend and analyst Isiah Thomas when he was filmed in the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, taking warm-ups shirtless in gray sweatpants and a do-rag.
Panelist Steve Smith, another former NBA champion, agreed with Thomas and suggested the league “go back to suits.”

Vigilantes reportedly beat up male accused of trying to rape elderly woman; cops told they could find suspect in hospital
Vigilantes beat up a male accused of trying to rape an elderly woman in the Bronx last week — and an anonymous caller helped out police, telling them they could find the suspect in the hospital, WNBC-TV reported.
The NYPD released video of the man in question, who’s seen wearing no pants just after he allegedly attempted to rape a 70-year-old woman near Creston Avenue and 184th Street around 12 p.m. Friday, the station said.
‘Yeah, we beat him up. … And if he comes back, I’m going to rock him again.’
Police told WNBC that the vigilantes found the suspect less than 24 hours later, as word of the attack against the woman quickly through the New York City borough.
Law enforcement sources also told the station that an anonymous caller told police that residents detained the suspect and delivered a vigilante beatdown against him near Tiebout Avenue and 187th Street. The caller concluded by saying that detectives could find the suspect in the hospital, WNBC reported.
The New York Post, citing police and residents, identified the suspect as 50-year-old Oswaldo Ramos — a “career criminal with 19 previous arrests.”
The NYPD said Ramos, who lives near the crime scene, was arrested Sunday and charged with attempted rape and burglary, the Post reported, adding that he hadn’t been arraigned as of Tuesday afternoon. Law-enforcement sources said he was still in St. Barnabas Hospital, and the details about his injuries were unclear.
The paper added that an unnamed vigilante resident said Tuesday that he’d repeat the beatdown: “Yeah, we beat him up. … You don’t do that. That’s something you don’t do. … And if he comes back, I’m going to rock him again.”
A 59-year-old man who also didn’t want to be identified confirmed the thumping of the suspect to the Post: “We don’t tolerate that kind of stuff around here. You won’t see any video on it. No cameras.”
“He deserved what he got,” Stenller Contreras told WNBC, adding that the catch-and-release system is wearing thin on the neighborhood.
“I would have done the same thing because that could have been my grandmother. It could have been anybody,” Contreras also told the station. “I would have done the same thing.”
Police sources added to WNBC that the suspect has not been cooperative in telling detectives the identities of the men who beat him up.
More from the Post:
Ramos was last arrested Oct. 6, 2018, for allegedly robbing a Bronx deli while claiming that he’d just shot a cop, police said.
He allegedly barged into the shop on East 178th Street near Mapes Avenue, flashed the butt of a black handgun, and sneered, “Give me the money. I just shot a cop. I’ll be back tomorrow for more money.”
He had not shot a cop, police sources said.
The disposition of that case was not immediately known.
Most of Ramos’ prior arrests have been for robberies and burglaries, according to authorities.
You can view a video report here about the attempted rape and the fallout from it.

Reaping what she sowed: Will Trump’s prosecutor be jailed?
After years of targeting President Trump in court, New York Attorney General Letitia James appears to be reaping what she’s sowed.
James, who once claimed that she would “put Trump in prison by any means necessary,” is under investigation for mortgage fraud.
The case against James surrounds a Norfolk, Virginia, home that James purchased in 2023, which she identified on mortgage documents as the home that would serve as her primary residence.
However, her job legally requires her to live in New York. Which could mean that James was identifying her home in Virginia as her primary residence as a financial work-around.
“What’s happening today, as Letitia James has now been referred to the Department of Justice for mortgage fraud, this is actual justice,” Liz Wheeler of “The Liz Wheeler Show” comments.
“This is not vindication for Letitia James; this is not punishing her; this is not simply reversing the lawfare that she used on Trump and aiming it back at her just to get back at her. No, this is justice, and it’s very, very necessary if we want the American people to feel confident that our country is not only fair, but that our rule of law is not so corrupt that we should avoid it,” she continues.
The allegation from James regarding Trump was that he inflated his own net worth and the value of his assets in order to obtain loans.
“Specifically, her allegation was that Trump inflated the value of Mar-a-Lago in order to obtain loans from banks in New York,” Wheeler explains, adding, “Nobody was angry; there was no victim in this situation; it was nothing. It was just real estate investors getting loans, paying them back, banks were fine, Trump was fine.”
“And yet a radical leftist judge ruled unilaterally that actually years later, by the way, that actually, Mar-a-Lago wasn’t worth the $18 million to $27.6 million that Trump had estimated or that he had valued it at. That actually, Mar-a-Lago was only worth $5 million or some ridiculously small number at the time,” she continues.
Trump was found liable in this civil lawsuit and ordered to pay more than $400 million on business fraud.
“There’s no crime here,” Wheeler says. “There was no victim. It’s an utterly stupid fishing expedition that Letitia James campaigned on. She was just trying to get Trump because she hated Trump. So now, fast-forward to today, Letitia James is being accused of actual, real mortgage fraud.”

Bessent aims to de-escalate China trade war: ‘The current status quo is unsustainable’
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the current state of America’s trade war with China is “unsustainable,” signaling support for a de-escalation between the two countries.
When asked if the China tariffs will come down, Bessent told reporters during a media roundtable Wednesday that “both sides believe that the current status quo is unsustainable.” The United States imposed a 145% tariff on Chinese imports, and China subsequently retaliated with a 125% tariff on the United States.
Nevertheless, Bessent assured reporters that ‘we are moving towards certainty.’
Bessent also added that “both sides are waiting to speak to the other,” clarifying that the trade negotiations between the United States and China have not begun.
“I think at this point there would have to be a de-escalation by both sides,” Bessent said. “I would be surprised if they went down in a mutual way.”
Bessent also said that President Donald Trump has not yet made any unilateral offers to de-escalate.
Because a trade agreement has not yet been reached, some American companies are reportedly reluctant to hire during this period of uncertainty. Nevertheless, Bessent assured reporters that “we are moving towards certainty.”
“It’s a three-legged stool, and everyone seems to want to focus on one leg, which is tariffs,” Bessent said. “The underreported story is that tax is going better than expected, and the Republican unity around that has been very strong.”

Mark Levin torches MSNBC for defending terrorist-supporter Mahmoud Khalil
There’s few things Mark Levin hates more than MSNBC, which he prefers to call MSLSD.
The liberal hacks who work there are specialists when it comes to “defense of the enemy,” he says. Their pearl clutching over the deportation of green card holder and Hamas-supporter Mahmoud Khalil is case and point.
Not only was Khalil a key leader in the pro-Hamas protests on Columbia’s campus, which involved vandalism and unrest, but he’s also a member of the group Columbia United Apartheid Divest — a vicious organization that supports terrorist events, including October 7, circulates Hamas propaganda, and calls for the total eradication of the West.
“They have direct communications in writing in a letter where the Iranian regime is thanking their group for their activities. They have information that was directly in the possession of Khalil and his group from Hamas,” says Levin.
Further, there’s evidence that CUAD changed its website language right before the October 7 attacks, leading many to believe that the group was privy to Hamas’ evil plans.
At this point, no one can deny that Khalil’s “connections to terrorism are real; they’re substantive, they’re recent, they’re ongoing,” says Levin.
But that hasn’t stopped the radical left from painting him as a victim and using his case to “constitutionalize terrorism.”
On April 5, MSNBC legal analyst Melissa Murray argued that Khalil is “someone who is exercising First Amendment rights” and asked his lawyer, Baher Azmy, what his potential deportation means for “ordinary citizens.”
“When you’re here on some immigration status, you’re a guest in the United States of America,” says Levin. CUAD talks “about the overthrow of the United States and the West. Is that what ordinary citizens do?”
Azmy answered Murray’s question by warning that “under the government’s pretty chilling authoritarian logic, one could be arrested, detained, and deported if you’re not a U.S. citizen simply because you disagree with the foreign policy objectives.”
“If you come here on a student visa and then all of a sudden you’re a protester pushing and promoting riotous behavior on behalf of an enemy, I’m sorry, that’s not protected,” Levin corrects.
“It’s sickening beyond belief that American media … allows this kind of propaganda to take place and, in fact, promotes this kind of propaganda.”

’60 Minutes’ executive producer resigns months after alleged edits of Kamala interview
“60 Minutes” executive producer Bill Owens announced his resignation on Tuesday amid continued pressure from President Donald Trump against CBS News and its parent company, Paramount Global.
In a memo to staff as well as a meeting, which included familiar “60 Minutes” faces Lesley Stahl and Scott Pelley, Owens indicated that he could no longer run the show in an “independent” fashion.
“Over the past months, it has become clear that I would not be allowed to run the show as I have always run it, to make independent decisions based on what was right for ’60 Minutes,’ right for the audience,” he wrote in the memo, according to the New York Times.
‘If the people that run Paramount and CBS think they can run ’60 Minutes’ better than Bill Owens has run it, they’re wrong.’
During the emotional meeting, Owens was apparently even more forthright: “It’s clear the company is done with me.”
Longtime “60 Minutes” producer Rome Hartman described Owens’ announcement as a “gut punch.” “If the people that run Paramount and CBS think they can run ’60 Minutes’ better than Bill Owens has run it, they’re wrong,” he said.
In a memo to staff about the resignation, CBS News chief executive Wendy McMahon praised Owens for his “illustrious career” and expressed appreciation for the time she spent working with him.
“Working with Bill has been one of the great privileges of my career. Standing behind what he stood for was an easy decision for me, and I never took for granted that he did the same for me,” McMahon wrote.
McMahon claimed that Owens will remain with the show “in the weeks ahead” as executives attempt to find a replacement. According to CNN, no leading candidates have yet been identified.
CNN said Owens could not be reached for comment, and a Paramount representative declined a request for comment from the Times.
‘They did everything possible to illegally elect Kamala, including completely and corruptly changing major answers to Interview questions.’
Owens joined CBS News as a summer intern in 1988 and became executive producer of “60 Minutes” in 2019 after nearly two decades with the show. He is just the third executive producer in the show’s 57-year history.
CNN described his upcoming departure as “another major victory” for Trump, who has excoriated “CBS Fake News” for its “fraudulent, beyond recognition, reporting.”
In particular, Trump takes issue with clips of an interview “60 Minutes” did in October with then-Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris. Previews of the interview and the final version that aired showed Harris give different answers to a question about Israel, prompting speculation that the network had deceptively edited the interview to minimize Harris’ notorious penchant for word-salad responses.
Trump alleged that such edits would amount to “election interference” on the part of the network.
In a Truth Social post on April 13, Trump reiterated those claims, accusing “60 Minutes” of committing “fraud” with the alleged interview edits.
“They did everything possible to illegally elect Kamala, including completely and corruptly changing major answers to Interview questions, but it just didn’t work for them. They are not a ‘News Show,’ but a dishonest Political Operative simply disguised as ‘News,’ and must be responsible for what they have done, and are doing,” he wrote.
Trump has put his money where his mouth is regarding these allegations. Just four days before pummeling Harris in the presidential election on November 5, he filed a $10 billion lawsuit against the news network. Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) joined the lawsuit in February, and the damages sought in the amended filing spiked to $20 billion.
Talks between Paramount and Trump continue, and both sides agreed to a mediator earlier this month. Shari Redstone, who owns a controlling share of National Amusements, the parent company of Paramount Global, has expressed an interest in settling the lawsuit.

SCOTUS likely to side with parents who object to LGBT propaganda in elementary classrooms
The U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments Tuesday in the case Mahmoud v. Taylor, concerning Maryland parents’ right to shield their children from LGBT propaganda in elementary school classrooms.
Unlike liberal Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson, the high court’s conservative-leaning justices appeared receptive to the argument that Montgomery County Public Schools, the state’s largest school district, violated the Constitution when it found a way around Maryland law to prevent parents from opting their children out of mandatory readings of LGBT propaganda.
The court’s ruling in the case is expected by June.
Background
MCPS approved over 20 works of LGBT propaganda for inclusion as instructional materials in its English language arts curriculum in late 2022.
There was no mistaking the propagandistic nature of these works, which included at the outset:
“Pride Puppy,” a book approved for pre-K students that tasks 3- and 4-year-old students with searching for items they might find at a non-straight parade — including transvestite activists, underwear, leather, “intersex flag,” and feathers;
activist and former chair of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation Board Jodie Patterson’s “Born Ready: The True Story of a Boy Named Penelope,” a work of propaganda that seeks to normalize child sex transitions that the district approved for K-5 students;
“My Rainbow,” a story about a mother’s efforts to groom her transvestic son;
“Uncle Bobby’s Wedding,” about a little girl’s peripheral involvement in her uncle’s gay “wedding”; and
“Intersection Allies: We Make Room for All,” touted as “a smooth, gleeful entry into intersectional feminism.”
The district was initially willing to let parents opt their children out of lessons incorporating the LGBT propaganda and to provide notice when such works were read, as required by state law. However, MCPS ultimately decided to deny parents the option in March 2023.
It appears the district figured it could get away with mandating the propaganda on account of a sleight of hand. State law requires opt-outs for sex education units of health classes. Since the books were instead introduced as part of the English curriculum, they are apparently not subject to the opt-out provision.
‘They’re not asking you to change that at all.’
Christian and Muslim parents who wanted the option not to have their kids subjected to content that stood in direct conflict with their religious beliefs took the district to court on May 24, 2023. Represented by the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, they argued that the district’s policy violated their First Amendment right to freely exercise their religion.
After lesser courts refused to order MCPS to let kids opt out, the case made its way to the Supreme Court.
A sympathetic court
The conservative justices on the high court appeared to think the parents’ position reasonable, the district’s reasoning questionable, and the LGBT propaganda inappropriate for young children.
Justice Brett Kavanaugh told Alan Schoenfeld, who represented the school board, that the parents are not asking the district “to change what’s taught in the classroom. They’re not asking you to change that at all.”
Kavanaugh clarified that “they’re only seeking to be able to walk out so that they don’t have — so the parents don’t have their children exposed to these things that are contrary to their own beliefs.”
Justice Samuel Alito appeared to be of a similar mind, saying, “The plaintiffs here are not asking the school to change its curriculum. They’re just saying, ‘Look, we want out.’ Why isn’t that feasible? What is the big deal about allowing them to opt out of this?”
‘It’s a message that a lot of people who hold on to traditional religious beliefs don’t agree with.’
Justice Clarence Thomas was keen to know whether the consumption of the LGBT propaganda was voluntary or compelled, asking “why the record shows that the children are more than merely exposed to these sorts of things in the storybooks.”
Eric Baxter, who argued on behalf of the parents and serves as vice president at Becket, emphasized to Justice Thomas that “teachers are required to use the books”; that the school board made clear “that every student would be taught from the inclusivity storybooks”; and that plaintiffs’ alternatives to sending their kids to these mandatory readings were “criminal fines or penalties or the expense of private school.”
Justice Alito acknowledged that the books were ideological in nature and in conflict with the parents’ views, noting that in the case of “Uncle Bobby’s Wedding,” the “book has a clear message, and a lot of people think it’s a good message, and maybe it is a good message, but it’s a message that a lot of people who hold on to traditional religious beliefs don’t agree with.”
Justice Neil Gorsuch suggested that certain statements from board members hint at a hostility toward parents’ sincerely held religious beliefs.
“We have some statements from board members suggesting the students were … parroting their parents’ dogma, suggesting that some parents might be promoting hate, and suggesting that it was unfortunate that they were taking a view endorsed by white supremacists and xenophobes,” said Gorsuch.
Schoenfeld claimed that the statements in which officials suggested parents were bigots “have been taken out of context” and that the record did not indicate they motivated the board to “adopt a policy that discriminates against people on the basis of religion.”
‘The Supreme Court, I predict, will stand with parents.’
When discussing whether it constitutes a burden to be exposed to this sort of instruction, Justice John Roberts suggested that unlike older students, younger children subjected to the LGBT propaganda are likely to naturally affirm what’s being taught or presented in the books.
Judging from their questions to Baxter and Schoenfeld, the conservative justices appear to think that the district should simply accommodate religious parents.
Reactions
After going before the high court, Baxter said in a statement, “In this country, we’ve always trusted families to decide when their kids are ready for sensitive topics. Children shouldn’t be forced into conversations about drag queens, Pride parades, and gender transitions without their parents’ permission. Today, we fought for common sense and parents’ right to guide the upbringing of their children.”
Billy Moges, director of the Kids First parental advocacy group that sued over the books, said, “Schools should be working with parents, not against us. We are our children’s primary teachers, not obstacles to be avoided. Today, we asked the court to remind Montgomery County — and the entire nation — of this fundamental truth.”
“The Mahmoud case argued in the Supreme Court today is quite simple. Montgomery County school officials want to expose young children to progressive sexual ideology against their parents’ wishes,” said legal scholar Robert George, director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University. “The parents want to be able to opt their kids out of this propagandizing. The Supreme Court, I predict, will stand with parents — probably 6-3 (maybe even 7-2). It will be another victory for Becket, the public interest religious liberty law firm representing the parents.”
Some activists are upset over the prospect of the high court once again upholding parental rights.
PEN America, a left-leaning organization that filed an amicus brief in support of the district, for instance, claimed in a statement that granting opt-outs for parents would “stigmatize LGBTQ students and families, who would watch their peers leave classrooms when books that include LGBTQ characters or themes are used.”

EPA uproots 455 DEI and ‘environmental justice’ workers to end Biden’s woke initiatives
President Donald Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency announced this week that it would either fire or reassign 455 employees in an effort to eliminate the Biden administration’s woke programs.
The EPA notified 280 employees that they would be terminated in a “reduction in force,” Axios reported. Another 175 staffers responsible for “statutory functions” will be reassigned.
‘Getting people back in the office is a priority now.’
Those impacted held “environmental justice” and diversity, equity, and inclusion roles in the agency’s Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights, Office of Inclusive Excellence, and its regional offices.
An EPA spokesperson told Axios, “EPA is taking the next step to terminate the Biden-Harris Administration’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Environmental Justice arms of the agency.”
EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin has accused the former administration of throwing away $20 billion in taxpayer funds on environmental justice initiatives.
“No matter how hard some try to circle the wagons to defend lighting billions of YOUR tax dollars on fire to be misspent in a $20 BILLION Green Slush Fund, I will not compromise on my ZERO tolerance policy against ANY waste and abuse!” he wrote in a Monday post on social media.
During a Monday press conference, Zeldin addressed efforts to streamline the agency and save taxpayer funds.
“When we came in, we inherited an operation that, for the most part, people weren’t even here in the office. COVID-era remote work is over,” he stated. “When I came in, I had asked the team, ‘How much have employees been coming in since January of 2024?’ And the answer is that on Mondays and Fridays, it averaged five to eight percent. The record high attendance was 37%.”
“Getting people back in the office is a priority now,” Zeldin declared, adding that returning workers to the office would allow the agency to make informed decisions about its real estate footprint.
Zeldin’s EPA has already saved American taxpayers roughly $18 million by removing employees from the Ronald Reagan Building and consolidating its office space in Washington, D.C.
The EPA administrator has focused much of his attention this week on addressing the sewage flowing over the border from Mexico into California.
On Tuesday, Zeldin toured a San Diego County plant that treats the sewage from the polluted Tijuana River. He stated that the EPA plans to present Mexico with a list of actions to resolve the issue.
“This is not a U.S.-side answer. I wish that we could resolve this all on our own,” Zeldin told KXTV. “There’s a lot of needs on the Mexican side.”
He said that he spoke with Mexican officials about “chemical treatment” and “diverting 10 million gallons per day from the Tijuana River to the dam.”
“We want both sides to sit down and go project by project to talk about the timeline of everything and make sure that every single project is operating on the tightest timeline possible,” he added.

Helpless suburban couple obediently hand over valuables — even clothing — to armed males in front of their home: Doorbell cam
A Ring camera caught the moment when a helpless suburban Chicago couple in front of their own home obediently handed over their valuables — and even their clothing — to armed robbers who rushed them Monday night.
Greg Poulos and Angie Beltsos were walking to their front porch in Glenview around 10 p.m. after dinner in the city when a car pulled up, WBBM-TV reported.
‘I was always taught by my father just give whatever they want, give what they want, and your life is far more valuable.’
Police said three males approached them, pulled out guns, and demanded their belongings, the station said.
Beltsos told WBBM she saw one male “running at us pointing a gun, screaming at us to give him everything.”
The couple did just that.
Video shows one of the robbers telling them to “give me all that s**t,” and Poulos and Beltsos immediately tossed their cell phones and keys to the ground; Beltsos also gave up her purse, the station said.
“You got it. You got it. Here, take it. Take it. Take everything. Take everything. Take everything. Take everything. Take everything. Here, you can have it. Honest to God, guys,” Poulos was heard on the clip telling the robbers, WBBM reported.
“I started throwing shoes and coats,” Beltsos noted to the station in the aftermath; video shows them both removing their jackets for the crooks.
Poulos told WBBM, “I was always taught by my father just give whatever they want, give what they want, and your life is far more valuable.”
The nightmare didn’t end there, however.
Video doesn’t show that the crooks soon “had us lie down on our stomachs, and pointing guns at us, and I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, is this how it’s going to end today?'” Beltsos recounted to the station, adding that “for a moment, they were standing there, and they ran off.”
Police told WBBM the robbers sped out of the neighborhood in a Jaguar SUV, which was later found abandoned and empty in Chicago.
You can view a video report here about the incident.
“People have become much more brazen, and they need to be held accountable,” Beltsos added to the station.
Glenview police told WBBM they’re talking to other local police departments in an attempt to identify the robbers.
The village of Glenview is about 40 minutes northwest of Chicago and is “one of the best places to live in Illinois,” according to Niche. It’s also a haven for retirees and boasts “a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks” as well as “highly rated” public schools, Niche adds.
Poulos told the station that people nowadays have “to be vigilant and keep their head on a swivel.”

Supreme Court blocks Donald Trump from deporting gang members
The Supreme Court of the United States sent shock waves throughout America when the justices sided with Democrats over the weekend, blocking the Trump administration from deporting MS-13 gang members under the Alien Enemies Act.
Only Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas stood their ground, disagreeing with the rest of the judges.
“I want to be very careful with my words here,” Sara Gonzales of “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered” begins. “I don’t expect Supreme Court judges to make their decisions based on any sort of loyalty that they have for the president.”
“But it does feel like the opposite is happening and they’ve got it out for him for whatever reason. We definitely know Amy Coney Barrett does, just based off of her reaction whenever she sees him. It’s like a visceral reaction that she has,” Gonzales continues.
Alito and Thomas claimed there was no hearing, no lower-court ruling, no opportunity for the government to respond, and no explanation provided. Alito also put his colleagues on blast for violating the court’s own rule 23.3, which requires seeking relief in lower courts first.
“All of them agreed that the highest executive in the entire country should not have the ability to remove illegal criminals from our country. That’s wild to me,” Gonzales says.
“Didn’t it strike you as a gross undermining of the judicial system, but more so, giving rights to illegal immigrants that Americans have in lower court? Your right to be innocent until proven guilty is an American right,” BlazeTV contributor Jaco Booyens says in agreement.
“That’s not a right for some Australian that ends up here or a kid from Guatemala. You don’t have a First, Second, Third Amendment. You don’t have these rights. You’re not a citizen,” he adds.
